Stuck Waiting Outside FF Restaurant

99.99% of the time, my FF shops go without a hitch. But for the second time in a matter of weeks, a homeless person rushes past me and goes into the restroom before I could enter. Both times, I waited 10+ minutes outside ahhhhh

On the first occurrence, I also heard a dog yelping in the bathroom whole I waited. So many fun experiences!

Why was the restroom outside of the restaurant? Was this an outhouse in West Virginia?

Did you observe the Br for cleanliness, trash can, and supplies.

I took it to mean outside the restroom, not outside the restaurant. It could have been the hedgehog place. Most of those are outside.

I did a shop yesterday where the restroom was outside the restaurant and you needed to obtain a token from the staff to enter. It was not even in what I consider to be a terrible neighborhood...

I did that fast food shop too and one time I had to get the key because they keep the door locked. They say there's too many druggies going in there and shooting up.

I did an arches shop and there were four empty bags of heroin with the brand "stamp" on them laying on the floor in the stall and a needle wrapper laying next to it. At least this junkie had a clean needle.
I simply ticked off the check box for medium trash on RR floor. They did not ask what kind of trash was on the floor. If it was a needle, I would have been tempted to put that in the narrative.

On second thought, I'd call and report the needle to the location after I was off the property for public safety and to not out myself at that hazard pay location while I was parked across the street and see if the manager went in and retrieved it from the RR.

Yesterday while waiting to take the famous bathroom picture I could not get into the bathroom. The cashier informed me there was someone using the bathroom. I waited and waited. Just as I was ready to leave 3 people came out of the women's bathroom. Two women and one man. I was thinking "what the hell" when the younger lady came to me and stated she was sorry it took so long but her Mother has dementia. My Mom also has dementia so I totally understood. Sometimes we just have to wait.

I've shopped many rural places with Port-a-potty facilities and one on the rez with showers that were in a separate building. Fortunately I've never had to take a picture of one!

Thanks teriraia! It always great to remember to take a little extra time to be patient. We will have those moments when we ourselves need a few extra moments!
