GRRR Wrong Location

I can not believe that I did this... I made a beginner's mistake today and shopped the wrong location. There were two of the same restaurant in the same town... Now I am out the $14 for the food I did not really want and did not complete the shop that I actually needed to complete. I hope MF does not give me the boot.

Maybe it is time for a vacation...

Have you reschedule? You can also inquire with their Helpdesk and see if there are other dates available.

yeah... I won't be out that way in the foreseeable future... which is probably why I did not know the area well and went to the wrong location.
It happens. Within the past month I went to the right location but a day early. That got big Grrr out of me.
That's terrible @TanyaBai

Hopefully the HelpDesk will take pity on you and you can claw your way back into their good graces. Did you send an email to explain what happened? Hopefully throwing yourself at their mercy and admitting your mistake will make them think this was an anomaly, not your usual M.O. Good luck!

Shopper in California's Bay Area
Yes they promptly responded and offered to reschedule. I just hope my inability to reschedule will not have them kicking me out of their system. I heard they are finicky like that...
Funny story, it reminds of the time I did a storage unit shop in my early years. I shopped the wrong storage facility. I was to buy a lock and NOT put in on the storage unit when I left. I was out the lock and one month fees for a small unit. Rookie mistake totally. The funny thing is the storage facility never contacted me about not having a lock on it or it being empty after not paying the next months fees or taking me thru the possession or auction process.
I had proof of my error and the scheduling company understood that I was now out of funds to complete their shop and canceled it for me. I am sure they had a good laugh, I know I did.
The most scariest one for me was a "famous mattress store" as I was doing the shop, I glanced out the window and saw the EXACT same one across the street! I panicked for a minute then said to calm down, if you have done the wrong one, you just drive across the street and do it againsmiling smiley But when I checked my business card and my paperwork I had the RIGHT one, thankfully! smiling smiley
I got a email yesterday from a MSC telling me that I shopped the wrong location in MAY.(Yes, it is now the middle of August.) Not only did I shop the wrong location, report the wrong location and submit a receipt for the wrong location,,,,, the MSC didn't realize it either and accepted the shop and paid me for it. The email just told me about it and showed me the two different addresses and told me to be careful in the future. Talk about wierd.

It is so weird I would be wondering if the MSC isn't the one who had the wrong location on the paperwork. How many people had to have missed a different address? And the client is just noticing three months later?

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
In my town there is a main boulevard and a street that comes into it on a diagonal. The same FF location is on both streets but on opposite sides of the boulevard. The CPI mentions a hardware store across the street. First off it is a gas station, the hardware store is on the next corner, but it is directly between both locations. One has the front entrance while the other has the back. I have tried to change the location description many times, but to no avail. Gotta be on your toes or you are paying out of your own pocket

I work almost exclusively from my hometown (okay its a fairly big city), or other areas that I am familiar with. I have caught several address mistakes, and several map mistakes (right address, wrong area on the map). Its easy to check this by looking on Google Street view. If its residential, chances are that it is still a residential area.
