Intelli-Shop scheduling

Hey all,
First time poster, long time lurker. I've been shopping for a while as a part-time hobby, doing shops that interest me for fun and not trying to make a living on it. I was on JobSlingerPlus tonight and saw an Intelli-Shop posting that interested me (hotel/casino). However, I saw the posting at 6:45PM and the shop will require me to leave my house by 12:00PM tomorrow in order to meet the check-in deadline.

I'll cancel my application at 12:00PM to be sure I don't get it assigned with a time frame I can't complete, but what do you think the odds are that the scheduler will see my application before I run out of time? I'd really like to do the shop, so I'm hoping they see it.

Thanks in advance!

I should clarify that I've done over 25 shops with them have have an average rating of "9"...I just can't remember how quickly they've approved/denied my applications for shops because it hasn't mattered until now.
It's a toss-up. Sometimes they are fast and sometimes they are slow. It seems to depend on the scheduler and on which client the shop is for. Sometimes it simply depends on the time of day. They are typically NOT FAST during the late afternoon or evening. Best thing to do is your plan: wait as long as you can and delete the application if they have not responded by the time you are ready to leave.
Thanks! I assumed as much, especially since it's a Friday night/Saturday morning that I'll be looking for the response. I'm not getting my hopes up.
I'm on, "Self-Assign for most of their shops. The ones that are always, "Apply' I generally get a good response time.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

I don't suppose it would hurt to email the scheduler or even try to call in the morning, especially since the time frame is so narrow. I would imagine if no one has been assigned by now that they need someone to fill the job. Also, I imagine you probably don't need to worry about canceling the application if you don't get assigned by noon.
I wish I knew who the scheduler is. I saw the posting via JobSlingerPlus, not via an email from Sassie.
I don't remember intelli-shop's protocol for contact, but you may even be able to email their info@ email. You said you have completed a number of shops for them. Perhaps you could email a scheduler from a previous shop and see if they know the scheduler for this one, remind them of your high rating, your desire to complete it, and ask if they would either let you know who the scheduler is or pass your information on.
Don't ever assume you won't be assigned a shop after the deadline. Noon your time might not be noon their time. Better to cancel the app and be safe.

Nope. If you do not want the shop anymore, it is best to cancel your application. Never assume anything in this business. There are instances where a scheduler assigned a shop even after the due date had come and gone.

ETA: Shyt. I just got to the bottom of the page and saw that LisaSTL gave the same advice. We even quoted the same exact section of the previous post. Scary,

Recently I applied for a job with a new company. I got an email saying it had been awarded to another shopper. I forgot about it. A few days go by and I got an email saying that I had been awarded the shop. Luckily for me it was close by and I could complete it, but I should have gone in and canceled the application. Just because you think you didn't get it... you never know.
Yup, I was planning on cancelling the application if it wasn't approved in time. Which I just did. Oh well, I'll keep a look out for it for the future. Thanks for all the advice!

Also Intellishop tends to use "rolling" due dates. As in the due date isn't REALLY the due date, it's the date they'd like it to be done if they assign it right now. So while right now that travel center shop on the board may have a due date of 8/18 sometime the morning of the 19th that will suddenly be 8/22. Their REAL due date is 8/31.
