Any experience with Michael M ring shops?

Scheduler sent me an email regarding two shops in my area, one just a few miles away. Allegedly the report is 15 yes / no questions and a few open-ended questions. Pay is low, but scheduler said a bonus is available (didn't offer a specific amount). Also, I'm not sure there's anything I know less about than jewelry. Maybe the topography of Togo or the inner workings of Microsoft.

Also, I thought the scheduler was goofing with me or making a mistake when she said she had a Michael M shop for me. I've never heard of the shop, and I am a Michael M(cNamara). Perhaps it's my destiny.

Why don't you ask to see the report?

Michael M makes wedding jewelry: [www.michaelmcollection.com] i have done branded jewelry shops in the past, but not this brand. My experience is that jewelry shops take time in the store to complete, but I generally like them.

I need to be more assertive in asking for what I want / need. That's a big plus of being here, seeing others being assertive and realizing I should do the same. I've always been way too hesitant to do so in work / business dealings.

I did one of these shops. It was easy snd the report was short. I thought it was fun to do something new even though the pay was low.

I replied to the scheduler's email about this but haven't heard back. My question, though, is this: are there any circumstances under which a woman would shop for an engagement ring alone? Or would I need to rope my husband or son into going with me?

We are all here on earth to help others....What on earth the others are here for I don't know.

If you're comfortable with the scenario, you could pretend to be proposing to a girlfriend. I've used that one. smiling smiley
