"Name your price" shop with Strategic Reflections

I am considering a shop that is an hour drive because they are desperate and said "name your price". I said I would do it for $100 and they came back asking if I would do it for $80. Can I trust that they will actually pay me this much? It is normally like a $10 shop. It is for tomorrow morning.

I feel certain they will pay you. It will be 9 days after their terms just like all of their payments. But they will pay you.

I have not done many shops for them, but they have always paid me on time with or without a bonus.

NINE days?! I waited more than 60 days for my pay to arrive. Is this new?

After their terms, not after the shops. From my latest invoice:

***NOTE: Checks begin processing approximately the
27th-30th of each month for shops completed the
PREVIOUS month and are mailed after processing is
complete.***
(Example: Checks for all shops completed in February
will begin processing around March 27th-30th, after the
client has approved all shops for the prior month.)
You will receive an email when the checks have been
mailed, so you will know it is on its way.

So yes, if you do a shop on Feb 1st, your payment will be slightly more than 60 days.

The royally caffeinated one is correct. They say checks are processed around the 27th-30th but in reality that little we are mailing checks email never comes until at least the 9th.

Yeah, that's more in line with the program. Do a shop November 1, get paid after the first of the year, in my experience.
