Where would you go to get the drug test done and where to get the background check? There's no assignments in my area though.. too bad.. I'd be interested if it was.
I'm worried that my back is not round enough for this assignment. Are there more specifics about this?
GFK would not need to keep posting for Auditors if they treated their current ones decently...

Shopping Bama and parts of Georgia.
I'm still learning 24/7.

When they first came out they offered a shopper manual of I believe some 40 pages or so describing the job. The phone conference call sort of reconfirmed that you are touching, feeling and recording everything from the front door to the toilet paper. That is why it is anticipated it will take 2 days. To me the most troubling was the number of anticipated interactions with a manager or similar. In the stores in my area you can wait 15 minutes to trip a passing associate. Forget a manager unless you fall on that back round and an accident report must be written up. I could spend a day just trying to find the manager!
The back ground check is basic. They have several labs that you down load the order, take it to the site, bingo, bango you are done. If you do shops, you pay nothing for the drug tes. The back ground is free from your local police dept.
I have been doing this for over a year and my only complaint is the rotation and the paper work. The job it's self is easy. The paper work takes quite a bit of time. I would suggest any one who is intersted to try it, if you don't like it, don't sign up for another one.
It has been my experience that the shop takes about 7 hours the 1st day, and maybe 4 hours the second day. Paper work is about 3 hours the 1st night, and about the same the 2nd.

Usually I try to do the stores on a Monday, Tuesday. The sale ad comes out on Sunday, so I have a head start on that. Because you have to do an ad set, I try to get the information Sunday evening, and do that on Monday. It is the most time consuming part of the paper work.
130 divided by 17 hours = $7.64/hr with a year's experience doing the job. Federal minimum wage these days is $7.25, though in many states it is higher, with I think it is 8 states where minimum wage is now $8 per hour or better.
With all of the CA locations listed and minimum wage being $8.00 Here, I'm not surprised these cannot be filled.

This is the sort of employee based behavior that's taking advantage of IC laws. Drug tests, unpaid training, back round checks.....please!

You want someone in San Francisco to work for under $8 with the cost of living there, you should be happy to have a criminal take the job.
Yup. Minimum wage in the State of Washington is $8.55 so you would do better slinging burgers there by far (or sloshing cappucinos).
...and getting tips for many of those jobs, as well as employee protections and full time hours.
Unbelivable the jobs shoppers will sign up for without doing the research. Shame on GFK for exploiting people.
