I feel like a little kid! :-)

I'm very new to MSing - only 2.5 months. I took a job for an MSC earlier this month for the experience as I had never completed a shop like it before. The scheduler emailed me 3 days after my shop giving me kudos on the job I did and saying they wished all their shoppers were as attentive to detail as I was. She then offered me a second job for the same company, at a different location and a bonus. I completed that job last night. Then this morning I wake up to an email from the same scheduler saying they'd love to have me take on some out of state phone shops for them next month as they really love my work.

I read here all the time how the more experienced shoppers have relationships with schedulers and plan assignments in advance before they hit the boards. I figured it would be at least a year before schedulers would even consider offering me jobs in advance like this. Even though this is my second job, I take MSing seriously and do my best with each assignment, so this just made my day.

Thanks for letting me brag. No one in my "3D" life would get it, but I figured you guys would. :-D

I used to see a life coach pretty regularly.... back when they were called bartenders.

It sounds like you are definitely on the right track. Keep doing what you are doing. : )
That's awesome!

Shopping Santa Barbara and Goleta, CA.
Praise from schedulers isn't very common at all so it's nice to get recognition for a change!
However, the cynic in me thinks that you're taking jobs that nobody else wants and that they normally have to bonus heavily. If a little positive reinforcement keeps you coming back for these jobs, then it's a big win for them. Though hopefully I'm wrong!

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
That is really great, I am fairly new also. I got a 10 on a difficult shop, yesterday and that made my day.
You Go GIrl! Keep up the good work. Praise it great and it seems like it is much deserved in your case. You are well on your way to building up a relationship with the scheduler, something we all try to do.

Shopping Central Jersey Shoreline. WHAT? I'm an adult?! When did this happen?! How do I make it stop?!

I understand what you're saying, and trust me, I'm not that gullible. :-) Actually, I spoke with the scheduler who is getting ready for maternity leave. She wanted to make sure that certain jobs were scheduled before she left and felt I was not only reliable, but did quality work. I like this MSC, because not only are they easy to work with, but their pay is commensurate to the task they ask their IC's to complete. They're also very responsive and down to earth when you talk to them.

Honestly, the first job was just to see if I liked that type of assignment - and I was surprised they gave it to me right off the bat. On the second job they were heading into the deadline, asked me to drive an extra 5 miles outside of my radius and offered me a nice bonus because of that. They also worked with me on the deadline as my schedule was already quite full. So all in all, it's a stand-up company.

In my mind this is a win-win. They get what they need and I get more work. :-)

Which MSC? Many forum members come here to bash the MSCs. It might be nice for the MSC to get some recognition here.

It is Market Viewpoint. They're actually based not to far from my home and do a lot of work in the mid-Atlantic region.
