Anyone seeing the January USPS shops?

January post office shops are not listed yet where I am. Is anyone seeing them in your areas?

I am seeing them in my area, they posted mid December. Maybe they are doing them in some geographic order.
They have them here. You can have my share.

I've only seen one reg $12 shop in my area. There were a few $15 shops listed in Dec. for early Jan. I'm now wishing I took. I hope more show up. I really enjoy doing these shops, the schedulers have been great.

I've got 3 due the 8th that I was assigned just before Christmas. There are a couple more sitting on the job board.
Hmmmmm, my filter is set for 25 miles from my zip code in NJ but my page is showing shops in CA, IL, TX, WA, OR, WV etc etc....??????????

Shopping Central Jersey Shoreline. WHAT? I'm an adult?! When did this happen?! How do I make it stop?!

Getting the same thing in upstate NY. The exact above states you list except WA or OR. Guess those are close enough for someone from NJ but not NY. smiling smiley
I don't remember which MSC it is, but every time I do a 10 mile radius search, I get lots of shops in Ontario Canada. I am outside of Philly PA. Can anyone please let me know where the magic tunnel is as I would like to visit Ontario more often and now it seems I am so close smiling smiley

On my job board, they have Houston, TX, Sacremento, CA, and Arlington Heights, IL mixed in with the shops that are actually in my state. I live in NE Ohio.
I have 4 assigned to me for next week already, and another 5 requested.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008

Shopmetrics is horrible.
I can see the same shops that you can, and I am in CA,
They posted in my area. By the way is there any restrictions how can I pay there (Cash, debit or credit card? I could not find anything in instructions.

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
When I did a search for all of California I saw lots of $12 shops for Nor. Cal and Central but nothing for So. Cal. My view of 20-mile radius also includes Sacramento Ca, Arlington Heights Il. and Huston Tx.
I received an email around 10PM tonight that offered all of my local USPS shop locations. I logged in and there they were!
Of course, a few hours ago, I sent an email to the schedulers whining about not being able to see local shops. I doubt the fix was due to my email ~ but if it was, thanks Ladies! ;~}

I saw a long list of shops for the first week in Jan sometime towards the 3rd week of Dec. After a few days the list was gone and there were only 3 or so jobs listed on the bottom of the page as filled but asking for back up people. The other 30 or so were gone. I thought they would come back in Jan. So far since that time I have gotten an email or two listing one or two locations which are miles away from where I live. I am still waiting for the bulk of the 100 or so post offices that are within 10 miles of me to show up so I can send my kids the rest of their holiday gifts that did not fit into one 5 lb box for the job I had mid December.
If any of you in other states are seeing dim weight shops in the los angeles area let me know as I have not seen them yet. I can put in your zip and clinch the shops!

I'm pretty sure you can pay any way you want, just as long as you get a receipt.

That is correct. The previous MSC required cash. The current MSC permits the use of plastic as well as cash.

I have not seen them local, but I have seen them in my state. I was annoyed by a scheduler as I requested a shop for the end of December with a large bonus. She emailed me and asked me to do it in January. I said sure, as long as the bonus was attached. She deleted my application and never responded to me.

The two previous MSCs may have preferred cash, but I always paid with CC and none of my shops were ever questioned or rejected--and I did LOTS of them. I am still paying with CC and have had no problems thus far.
Just trying to challenge the system are you?.... If the old one preferred cash why use CC? Good thing they were not refused but if they were you would not be able to challenge. Why not just follow the rules of the game?

Canadamommy, I had permission from my schedulers. Mind your own mystery shopping business and stay out of mine, please. Keep your snarky comments to yourself.
CM's post was snarky but Jas's post left out vital info about having permission. Would be better to admit that from the get go.
MSNinja, CM follows me around the board and makes snarky remarks about many of my posts for no other reason than she is bored and needs a target du jour for her bullying. Today is my turn again, apparently.
To me the key word is "preferred" as opposed to "required." If there are three payment options accepted by the client, unless the MSC uses the word required in the contract anyone of the three is still acceptable. So no need for the snark and no need for further explanation.

You never stated that in the original post.

I didn't write the original post. Onepotatotwo wrote the original post. And like Lisa stated in her post, the key word is "preferred" which means that it was not a big deal no matter how I paid. I did not have to ask permission but chose to do so just to be sure it was okay. And quit following me around the forum and leaving your nasty little comments to everything I write!
