I appreciate reading everyone's perspective. That, combined with the fact that the scheduler couldn't be bothered to answer my email, I'm going to pass. When I went through the booking, it seems that there are indeed single rooms on this line as it didn't come up with a charge for a single supplement. Good to know for the future. Cruises are a cheap vacation.
Exactly! I had to contact a scheduler (another MSC) when I did a cruise (not Coyle BTW). They were available 24/7 to me, cell phones, texting, whats app, etc.

On top of that I have friends and relatives at 3 different major airlines so airfare would be at most $75 for me. The downside is it's my least favorite company that I will actually do work for. And I'm already way over booked for the timeframe.

Which msc is this?
The shopper must had many hero citations and thought that's why he/she got selected. I asked whether there was a bonus since by the 24 the ship closes the manifest,no.@cubbiecat wrote:
I see the Cape Canaveral port has been scheduled and off the board.
If you log in to the employee site, you can see how many tickets are left on particular flights. When it shows 1-5, you're not getting on. Probably not at 6-10, either. Beyond that, though, I've never had an issue. I might not get the first flight of a day, but I think 4 hours is about the longest I've waited. I agree with you, though, about just showing up and hoping to get a flight. There are very few flights available in the summer excepting red-eyes in the middle of the week. Of course, there's always SQM for 1/2 off...@dakotagypsy wrote:
A word of warning. NEVER use buddy passes when you have to be somewhere - especially a cruise or a shop. I have seen many people sitting at an airport for days (even weeks) trying to catch a flight.
