Belgian chocolate purveyor using sassie for online customer surveys

Today I bought some chocolate at a shop where I've done mystery shops in the past. I was not mystery shopping. I saw on the receipt that they are soliciting customer feedback, so I went to the site and did the very short survey. I was surprised to find that after the companyname.com/survey page I was routed to a sassieshop.com url. One of the questions asked if I could be contacted by a (chocolate company name) team member regarding my "experience in the boutique," and out of curiosity I answered yes. Was given a choice of phone or email and chose email. Let's see what happens.

I found this interesting because I used to see these shops listed with some regularity, and I would often do them for fun/free chocolate when I was going to the mall anyway. I haven't seen the shops in a long time and thought that maybe the chocolate company moved to another MSC that I'm not signed up with. But now I wonder if they've just stopped the mystery shops and are only relying on customer surveys. I can say for sure that the online survey is nowhere near as detailed as the mystery shop and wonder if they decided to cut their market research budget.....

So, before, when it was through an MSC, you would get free chocolate and payment for supplying the client with information about the shop. Now, the client is reaching out directly to you and still getting the info, but without you getting free chocolate or payment? What are they giving you in exchange for your time and effort?
This is not a mystery shop. I wouldn't characterize it as the client reaching out to me, but rather being cheap and relying on random shoppers to fill out a very brief survey. It's one of those situations in which, on the receipt for the purchase, you're asked for your feedback and provided a website where you can respond to the survey (which so many stores and restaurants do these days). Anyone making a purchase at the store would see the same thing on the receipt - the store would have no way of knowing that I have done mystery shops for them in the past.

I did the survey out of curiosity, not because the client is giving me anything. I am trying to suss out if the client has stopped its mystery shopping program and is now relying on shoppers to fill out surveys (if they happen to read their receipts). I found it interesting that they use sassie for the online survey. Call it an experiment.

Mainly I posted because I figured that if anyone in this forum was aware that the lady on a horse chocolate shop has stopped doing mystery shops, they'd say something. Or if they knew that the program was still taking place, they'd say something. I just haven't seen any of those mystery shops in a long while.
I used to do the long haired naked lady shops. I have not seen one for at least 2 years. I have noticed the Be Well people have the customer survey receipt now and a few of the formerly shopped grocery stores do also. It does seem to be a trend. Of the 6 stores I was running errands to on Friday, 5 had the customer satisfaction surveys. I don't fill out anything for a chance to win. If they are offering a percentage off the next shopping trip, or a buy one, get one offer, then maybe. Just for a chance? No, I want some kind of guaranteed compensation. If I have a problem at the store, I won't be going through a receipt survey.
The last naked lady shop I did was in spring 2015, and the last one I remember seeing posted was around June or July 2015.

As for whether anyone wants to mess with their online surveys or find out what that client is up to.......to each their own.
Same here - last naked lady shop was April 2015. It appears a lot of companies are foregoing mystery shopping and using the receipt surveys.
I guess I did not word my question very well. I know the receipt surveys are not mystery shops. But, I was wondering what, if anything, was the compensation for doing the survey? Do they offer a chance to win, or a dollar amount off future purchases, or buy one get one free, etc.?
I recently shopped the Belgian chocolate store so they are still shopped. If I recall, they even have a question about the cashier mentioning the survey. So apparently for the moment thery do both mystery shopping and surveys.
Lindt is still shopped. I did one last week. I haven't done a Godiva shop in a year or so.

In this case, absolutely nothing about a prize or other compensation is mentioned on the receipt. As everyone probably knows, a lot of the receipt surveys do mention a drawing or a coupon for a discount on a future purchase, etc. But not these guys.
