Oh my. Must. Go. Look.

Yes worth it. Easy questionnaire and is not your typical car dealer, very low pressure sales. And you'll love the test drive.

That said, it took them about a month to review my shop so they were asking for some clarification at that time, as if I would remember. Other than that very enjoyable.
I don't think there were any restrictions on male / female, but only the shopper can go. No spouses / SO's, no friends, no children.
That's how I felt about the Harley Davidson shop!

I was ready to sell my kidney when the sales person showed me the auto pilot in freeway rush hour traffic. All I could think was "Must have this car. Must have this car."
Want. To. Do. This. Shop.

Off to find MSC!

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
This is one of those shops I refuse to do due to lack of personal willpower.

Auto pilot? Wow!!!!! WOW!

So how did your kidney operation go?

I go to do one. It was fabulous, and a surprisingly easy report all in all. Scheduling was a bit odd though.
I've never done a car shop, since I knew the reports were quite a pain in the neck. Hearing that this is easy is making me want to do one.
Maybe the autopilot can write the report also. That would make the price tag even more enticing.

Wouldn't that be nice!!!

I got a text today asking if I want to do this shop. They said 50.00( negotiable). It will be my first shop with the company. I took the test and failed. I was tired when I took it( thats my excuse). Told the scheduler and she reset the test for me. Taking again tomorrow.

Are the subtle requests helping? I can't find it yet
The shops are super easy. However, there is some prework that needs to be done before the actual shop.

They are super fun to do too.. schedule your test drive when its not rush hour to really enjoy the car. Autopilot and 0-60 in 2.8 seconds requires some free highway space to appreciate.

Finally if you own a Tesla you can't do this shop sad smiley

If you own a Tesla I don't think you would be doing this job. There are two in my neighborhood. They start at $80,000. up and above to $230,000. Correct me if I'm wrong. I have seen them at Marshall's, Fitness, and at a new restaurant opening soon on the water.
I can't do it because I'm going out of town on Tuesday. Will have to catch it next month.
At the rate of $70 for an hour of work, maybe an hour and a half where a portion of that work involves driving a really cool car..... I'd do it if I could.

The new model will start at $35,000.

Tisk Tisk .. you know the rules or should. We are not allowed to name the MSC so keep looking on your own.

yeahi know, but some people here are cool
Do you mean some people don't respect the forum or their contractual agreements?

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

today i test drove the model x (mid-sized suv with the "angel wings"winking smiley and would absolutely love one. drove it for an hour on highway and city streets almost entirely in the "autopilot" mode. it changed lanes by itself (after you use the turn signal, it slows down and speeds up according to traffic conditions and i let it "autopark" parallel park. great experience. i have a new mini cooper with the twin turbo engine and the tesla is the fastest thing i have ever driven. completely silent with a huge center screen showing all the electronics. not only does it have many cameras to monitor traffic conditions but also a radar system.
I received a text message followed by a phone call to do one for a bonus. The scheduler had a strong accent (apparently Philippino) and was hard to understand. We scheduled it for next week and I got a confirmation from Tesla for the appointment on the correct date. Went to the MSC website and they have it scheduled to be completed today. Immediately sent a message to them to change the shop date to next week. Hopefully the actual shop will go as easily as many of you have said.
