No Shops Available to me - What Happened??

Hello All,
I should start by saying that I'm brand new to this forum and also very new to mystery shopping. I recently completed my first couple of shops with Best Mark. Shortly after coming home from my first shop, I go to the Best Mark webpage, where there are a TON of shops available. I assign myself one new shop. Then, all of the sudden there are no new shops available to me- anywhere, even travel! Now, keep in mind that this was the day before my first shop survey was even due, so I don't think that I could've managed to do anything wrong in that time frame. I hadn't even submitted anything yet and nothing was yet due. I will probably end up e-mailing them, but was wondering if anyone had similar experiences? Insights? Web site issues with Best Mark?

I wouldn't get terribly concerned. It may well be that they have a limit as to how many shops a new-to-them shopper can take. Once your shops have been edited and they have an idea of the quality of work you do you are likely to see more shops. Also, at this time of month they may have everything scheduled, so just keep checking.
Couldn't hurt to e-mail someone there. Also, sign up with more companies. The more work available, the better, right?
This happened for me when starting out with BestMark. After completing my first few shops, that went away.
Also, you will find with some companies that they have limits on the number of locations you can do a month. This is usually a requirement asked for by the client as the MSC would love to have the same person knock them all out (assuming they do a good job at it).

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
Just wanted to let you guys know that the problem has been resolved and I'm allowed to sign up for new shops again. You guys were right. Once my first couple shops were approved, more were made available.
This happened to me because I had completed over 30 shops in a month. Not sure why it would happen after 1?
Some MSCs severely restrict the number of shops that a new shopper can have assigned until they establish a track record of completion.

Shopping Southeast Pennsylvania, Delaware above the canal, and South Jersey since 2008
I hate when the MSC has limits they don't make readily known. A lot of MSC's have limits to the number of a particular shop you can do too but do not post it, the shops will just disappear from the available shops when you sign up for the limit. It's really annoying when you want to schedule a route of shops. You start out and then all of a sudden boom they all disappear after like signing up for three. Here's a recommendation from me having done this awhile. If you're looking to do a route of shops, always start with the shops nearest you and sign up for the further away shops last. That way if there's a hidden limit you're not stuck with a cluster of shops far away from you while you know there are closer shops, but now you can't see them
