Multiple MSPs offering the same cellphone shops

Has anyone run into a situation where you do a shop for one MSC and then another MSC calls/emails with the same shop and the same location? And you say, "I just did that location for another MSP" and the MSP on the phone says, "That's OK, you can still do it with us too." I live in a small city and although there are several cellphone stores, shopping one store over and over for different MSPs is a huge red flag. Why would Cellphone companies hire several MSPs to perform shops at the same locations? OK, maybe the requirements are different among the MSPs, but still, I am a mystery shopper and it would still be obvious that I'm not a serious/real customer if I keep going back to the same store and never seem to decide on a phone/service...

While some could certainly be test shops for a client thinking of switching MSCs, it is not just the client shopping their own store. Don't forget about competitor shops and manufacturer shops to test sales associate knowledge or to find out just which product is being recommended. It is why the scheduler told you there were no issues on the MSC side if you had shopped the location recently.

I have lucked out. I have been able to do the same cell location for three different MSCs. One visit, one picture, one business card, three reports.

I love it when that happens!

Also, in addition to what Lisa said, some companies do market research. When you see a brand in a movie or on TV, it's probably because of us!

Even the app based companies are getting into the cell phone store employee audit game. For the huge sum of $3.00 you can mystery shop a cell phone store employee, ask about purchasing a cell phone and ask about healthy living devices. On the up side, there are only 3 questions and 1 photo. But, you know how long some of these shops can take if the store is busy, or you get a talker. Not for me, and I usually love the app based jobs. This one has been hanging around so long it's starting to smell.

While YOU love when this happens, why don't YOU submit three different proofs to each report versus the same for each shop? Even if it is a picture of the building, one near or far would probably suffice along three different business cards or pamphlets of the store.

While it MAY be acceptable....................................it could be a thin line.
Why would I do that?

I have been going to the same cell stores for years on a monthly if not weekly basis. Lets take a T-mobile for instance. It first can be shopped by t-mobile itself, then it can be shopped by its 3 competitors Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint. It can also be shopped by LG, Samsung, Apple, Google, and Microsoft. To top it off it could also be shopped by a smartphone processor such as Snap Dragon which I have done that shop. So if all the stars aligned and Saturn was in retrograde you could go to one store and complete 10 shops at the same time for 10 different msps assuming they were okay with it. Oh and that's not even counting the tablet shops at the phone stores.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

Because it is a thin line between acceptance and rejection. Scheduler A may have had no problem but what was Schedluer B and Scheduler C has to say?confused smileyconfused smiley
What if Jupiter was squared with Saturn and the same editor was working for all 3 companies?
