How far would you go for a mystery shop? Burger shop in Kuwait $40.

How far would you go for a mystery shop? I'm in Calif, but found one site (where I get shops) offering a $40 burger shop in Kuwait. A little too far for me. LOL

Seems several MSCs on Shop Metrics list locations around the world regardless of our settings. In a previous discussion, several members explained the reasoning behind this.

Combat pay for KW? You have got to be kidding. Perfectly safe.

The simple answer: I would travel to most places if costs were paid with a few exceptions. Off the top of my head, no trips to:

Africa: Rural Egypt, Sinai, Libya, the Central African Republic, Nigeria except the capitol, Somalia, Sudan, Uganda, rural of much of west Africa, northern Ethiopia, South Sudan
Asia: Gaza, far northern West Bank, most of Iraq, Afghanistan except Kabul, rural Pakistan, DPRK
Europe: the Nagorno-Karabakh region of Armenia and Azerbaijan, occupied Ukraine, Russia outside of Moscow and St. Petersburg
Americas: Mexico (except with a guide and very good KRE insurance), Columbia except Bogota, Honduras, parts of Guatemala.

But for safe places like Kuwait, just send me the ticket and prepaid hotel. I can leave with 20 minutes notice except to places for which I need to wait for a visa.
Yes, Kuwait is perfectly safe. I saw that shop and laughed at the high pay. No shoppers there? There are plenty of Brits and Americans there if they want English.

Distance is never an issue as long as my other requirements are met.
1. The job must pay me a reasonable profit.
2. The client must reimburse for all required purchases in addition to job fee.
3. The job must pay me for required travel expenses, including food and lodging if the job requires me to stay overnight.
4. The job must pay at least $100/day if it leaves me no time to conduct other jobs that day.
5. The job must not require me to be in or travel through a location that makes me feel unsafe.

So $40 to go to Kuwait would not be doable since it does not meet requirements 3, 4, and possibly 2 and 5.
