I did several of the Kegs a few years back when I was in the area. Quality varied widely. When it's reimbursement only, that means that you might be driving a considerable distance for a bad meal. Check Yelp or TA first before accepting. Those that were good were excellent. We had trouble getting to the max amount, so bring someone with you who is a big eater.
Now scheduling travel shops for the day after Christmas through mid-January.
The company who has these assignments usually only reimburses 50% for restaurants, and has high minimum purchases. I did them when I started mystery shopping, but found I was spending more than I normally would so moved to companies that reimburse fully.
Haven't seen the Keg shops yet so maybe it will be different than their other restaurant shops. Hopefully!

I used to live in Ontario( I'm American) and only shopped for one company. I must have been the only shopper because I'd get paid 75.00 to shop " sunglass hut" in London and Sarnia. I never had a rotation either because I was the only person doing them. This was years ago btw.
Some of their other restaurants I've done (casual, sports bar types) have 100% reimbursement up to a max of between $50-$60 so I'm hoping this one is the same (but with a higher amount). I definitely won't do it for 50% only!

The London and Sarnia shops still sit around forever; I've made a few routes there. I don't think there are many shoppers around there at all.
