Not seeing Burger Shops - when before there were dozens???

Hey everyone, I'm trying to follow guidelines of posting, so bear with me if I sound vague. I frequently do burger shops for a place with a number in their name, especially when they are bonus-ed. I have done MANY of these and am at the point where I only take them if a scheduler calls with a request and they are bonus-ed. I recently did one Friday, and all of the sudden I am not seeing any in the line-up for the past two days.

Anyone aware of this? Have I been outed, or removed from the shops? I realize that my shop reports may seem as though I'm being too nice, but for the most part everything is perfect when I visit. There have been a few occasions where I needed to note something, and I did so. What do you think? I guess I don't mind that much, but I wish they would at least tell you why before removing you as a shopper for a certain shop.

It could be that you've simply ht the limit on the number of shops the client is willing to accept from the same shopper or that they really only wanted half the the shops done, but didn't really care which half, etc. I've had a couple of things like that happen and I've simply emailed the scheduler saying something to the effect of: "Yesterday there were a slew of these shops and I was hoping to pick up one or two more. Are there any still available? I don't seem them on the job board anymore." So far, if I've been polite and frame my question as somebody just hoping top pick up one of their jobs, the schedulers have sent me a nice reply with an explanation.

Hi, amye! You can say Five Guys as long as you don't also name the company that shops them.

Can it just be that other shoppers took the remaining jobs? Or the deadline passed, and they didn't re-post them? I'm not sure why you think you've been dropped or possibly banned from these for the rest of the period. But I'm relatively new with this MSC and don't know for sure. Hopefully, someone else has better info for you.

I'm not sure if there are limits on how many shops they allow shoppers to do within a certain period of time, but I don't think so. I've done three in one week before, and had them call me to do another one! (But I was Five Guys'ed out by then!)

I did these shops heavily for a year and then was not able to assign them anymore. Don't know if I reached some magic number or was outed. I has been over 3 years now and I still do not have access to the shops. You can always email the help desk which may or may not provide an answer to you.
I've noticed a dearth of those shops too in my area. I was worried that I was booted from the program or had reached a max too, but they usually post them on Jobslinger in my area, and I didn't see them there either.

Five Guys bonused? You must not live in my area. I remember picking up a slightly bonused one, once.
I got the "kiss of death" for one year.... because I had shopped them all a gazillion times. tongue sticking out smiley

One day, they magically re-appeared on my board again and I do them all regularly now. smiling smiley
Each time I am too busy to do that shop I receive an email offering a bonus. I don't think there is a limit because when my excuse for not accepting a bonused shop was I just did the location that week, the answer was, "It does not matter." There was a certain period when that joint was not on available shops. I suspect they had somehow cleaned out the board with bonuses. Then they start again.
Search Monroe, LA. If you see one then they just don't have any in your area right now. If you don't see one then you most likely have been booted from the client.

You were outed after only three shops? That is not good odds.
I think she means she was filled to the brim with 5 Guys food and was tired of eating it, not that she was "Outed" as a shopper.

Check your search criteria. I suggest you increase the miles just to see what pops up. Right now they only have that client listed through the beginning of July. Once you shop a location, it is filtered out for 30 days from auto assign.

I'm the same right now. They all just disappeared today for me as far as I know. I have a relative who shops in the area and she still sees a lot. I searched some cities I know to have them and they aren't there either.

I only started earlier in the year and have been doing 5-6/month so I wouldnt think I've hit the limit.
If you signed up for and missed a shop from them before, they boot you out for a little while.
Well, I seem to have been booted from 5 Guys shops for now... I can see other shops, but not them. I can see lots of interesting shops in Monroe, LA, but no Guys. It's a bit of a bummer, because there was one within walking distance of me and I liked the food. But, it's OK, I won't miss them that much. I didn't have any assigned to me that I missed or cancelled... they must have just decided that I've done enough for now and they're imposing a break. Fair enough. Maybe when they get desperate enough, they'll come crawling. winking smiley

I do a different fast food restaurant for the same MS company and received a call today to get all of the leftovers done. I took all 5 in my area. It could be that someone else received a similar call and wiped them off the board for the month.

Yes, that's what I meant! That would have been "Five Guys Outed"!

I got a call from a scheduler to do a 5 Guys about a week ago. He checked and said it had been three months since my last shop so my rotation was good. What rotation? I wished I had asked.

They will, indeed! Especially when they don't get the quality of reports that I'm sure you give them. They'll be offering bonuses before you ask! Seriously....

30 days per location for Self Assign.

saying burger place with a number in the name is essentially coming out and naming the restaurant....as long as you don't say the restaurant and MSC you are fine
Hi everyone! Thanks so much for your helpful responses and feedback! It seems that, like a few of you on here, I've maxed out. In my area, there are a TON of these shops that don't get picked up. I'll take them when a scheduler calls bc they are nicely bonused but only then. I am still not seeing any so perhaps I hit the magic number. But I will reach out to help desk to see if I can get any clarification.
That's very strange! Another earlier poster has a great suggestion of how to reach out to help desk via email and try to get an answer. I've done what seems like hundreds of them, so I can understand my being booted.
I've done literally hundreds of them too, and I still see them as available. I like their food, and always try to give a fully detailed report.
When I was doing that MSP's other former burger place, they had a limit on how many a shopper could do in a certain period, so maybe the same thing happened here. I had all my available shops disappear from my board while on the phone with the scheduler, and he explained that to me. Also, in my area, these shops tend to fly off the board as soon as they come out, and then I don't see them again until the next batch comes out. Give it a couple of weeks and you may see them back again, or better yet, get called.
Well, a couple more popped up in my job board today. There were none a few days ago, even when I checked other areas. There must be a behind the scenes rotation that the website enforces until it gets more desperate. Either way, I'm grateful and I've scooped up my local walking-distance location.

I've never done a shop for 5 Guys, I don't normally log into this MSC but I get the daily emails and have not seen them for awhile in my area either.
Years ago, I was excluded from seeing Five Guys at one specific location, not all. A year or so later, voila! That location reappeared. More recently, I saw no Five Guys. None. I was clueless. Shopper friends saw them. I didn't bother to contact the Help Desk. Figured I'd get a canned response. After a few months, Five Guys reappeared on my board, and daily bulletin! No explanation. Quirky? Uh-huh!
