I'm getting fatter

Why was she an idiot for giving you what you asked for? If I have a special request, I give the waiter specifics. I can't assume that they know.

As I stated, it wasn't a special request. A breakfast sandwich without bread is a standard menu item at this chain of stores. When I have ordered it at other locations, it's come wrapped in foil that you can peel back, like a gyro or similar. Yes, she was an idiot--how did she expect me to eat it? I assumed, wrongly, when I got the small styrofoam container, that when I opened it I would see the two items wrapped in foil. Instead, there were a sausage patty and an egg patty loose in the box. She boxed it while I was paying for it, so I couldn't see what she didn't do with it. So, if she didn't wrap it, wouldn't she put plasticware in the bag? She didn't. I can't imagine the store intends for the "sandwich" to be served like that.

I have a lunch shop today that will break the calorie limits. It is one of my favourite shops, so I will let caution go to the wind.

The bowl of lobster bisque with a pile of claw meat in the center with a full shot of brandy liquor poured on it table side makes this the best tasting soup:

Then I will follow that with a dry aged steak that is cooked to perfection in a very hot salamander and green beans to pretend its healthy after dipping a whole basket of buttered bread in the soup. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

If my dining companion reaches across the table, I may need to report that the fork has bent prongs.

I don't blame you! That bisque looks and sounds fabulous!

Try counting your calories and understand what goes in and out of your body.

If your calories in exceeds your calories out, that means you're gaining weight. Nuff said.

As for how to 'eat healthy' for these dinner shops? I could write dissertations on that subject, if anyone's even remotely interested in that.... It may even be simplified to target mystery shoppers to make better health choices, but still get the job done.

Wing shops: go to dry rubs and salads. No burger joints. Veggie pizza and salad...still drinking Blood Orange Lemonade.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

I'm s calorie counter, however, I do my bar Integrity, and had to have two drinks (vodka and cranberry).
My appetizer after much ado consisted of an artichoke, good so far. They bring the artichoke with an amazing
butter (to die for), the artichoke is slattering in it, I ate the whole thing, along with the fresh bread and more butter. I was having a great time, and decided to order wings, which were to die for. I had a ball, got on the scale this morning and gained two pounds......today is starvation and golds gym....oy vey!

Girl I feel the same way. I am going to have to take a break from the restaurant shops for a while and go on a smoothie diet.

Smoothies can be just as bad and filled with all sugar, if not prepared right. Same with not getting enough calories and nutrients.

Yes i have the same issue. I love doing 5 Guys shops but had to cut back on eating everything that i ordered.
I put on 15 lbs, and my wife asked me to stop doing fast food shops. There's plenty of other shops out there.
I had the same issue so for the past couple months this guy isn't one of the Five Guys. Lost about 7 lbs.
You can get the nutrients from fruit/veggie smoothies, but they are high in carbs. That's another thing to watch out for.

I spent a full year eating at Sonic 3 to 4 times a week - getting great bonuses, making it difficult to turn down. Eating nearly the same meal every time!! Aarghh!! In December of that year, I went to a Sonic 26 times in one month. Before the year was over, I got a call offering bonuses for me to schedule January. I said no thanks, I'm done. $20 (+) bonuses were great but it was not worth the extra weight. That was 3 years ago and I haven't done one of those shops since! And I've lost weight.
That's a lot of Sonic!

That is a lot of Sonic. I will take a fast food (usually Carl's Jr) place once every two weeks at the most.
With Strategic Reflections heres what I noticed... I have a login name on Strat Reflectons... lets say it's mcane (its not) and a password used to be sandysue. Well, I signed up for Gigspot BIG MISTAKE and signed up using my email address which is mcane@yahoo.com and a different password... joey. So follow me here

Strat Reflections

Gigspot
login: mcane@yahoo.com

well, when I go to strategic reflections now... if I use my OLD login name of mcane but my NEW password of Joey, it says "good news you have a gigspot account.... " and below that "take me to the legacy site" . I click on the legacy site and I'm back into my old account but I have no options to do anything. It all says you have a gigspot and can only search this way. What.?!?!?!? I dont wanna do that. I travel... A LOT

I will often do drive thru shops. The shops require you to taste and eat the food, but no where do any of these shops say you have to eat ALL of the food. I do not drink soda. I always order a Dr. P or coke or cherry coke, or even sweet tea even though I can't stand the taste. I know what it's SUPPOSED to taste like, so I sip it, and trash it. It's so wasteful :/ as for the food, often times I eat a little, give my honey half of it, or even just feed a stray with the left overs. I like picking up those shops no one in my rural area has done that pay me $45 last minute to do a shop that was only paying $5 to start with but I'm a picky eater and most shops require these mega meals of 1500+ calories. Get the burger, 700 calories, get the curlies or fries or cakes, 600 calories, order the soda 200 more calories, upsize if they ask, another 500 calories -_-
