How about the new time requirements for Panda?

The new time period restrictions will definitely reduce the number of Panda shops I do. The deadline for reporting was already down to 8 hours or less. Now it is even worse. The company wants us to shop the 8pm-closing Pandas as close as possible to closing time, up to 15 minutes before closing. That gives us less than 15 minutes to wait in line, get the food, eat it and make observations in the restaurant, drive home, and fill in the reports. Even if I lived next door to a Panda, I could not make this happen.

No Pandas for me this month. The reporting deadline doesn't bother me, because the reports are so short and easy. I usually complete them on my tablet in about 5 minutes, so I don't need to go home to fill out the report unless I just want to. I don't like the time frames themselves. I think Panda is just fine for a quick lunch, but no way am I interested in 2-5. I don't want to go there for dinner, so 5-8 is out. And there is NO WAY I am eating Panda between 8PM and closing. I have no interest in eating fast food Chinese after 8PM.

It looks like a lot of shoppers agree, for one reason or another, because the Pandas posted yesterday and are still sitting on the board. Usually they are all grabbed within hours.
Yes, 5-8 PM is generally out since I live in a fairly large city and like to be home before the mad rush hour traffic.

They "encourage" us to shop close to the closing time. I don't think they can penalize us if we enter shortly after 8 PM. At least that's what I intend to do.
The shops for this company are due within a maximum of 8 hours or by midnight on the day of the shop. That means you have less than 4 hours to do the shop, drive home, and finish the report if you do an 8pm shop. This company apparently doesn't realize that you probably have other shops on your route. I do my shops and then submit them after I am finished for the day.

If Panda is done by the same company I am thinking of...I usually do "their" reports first because of the 8 hour window. Some of my MSC's give me 24 hours, 12 hours or "next day" so I report those last. smiling smiley
I like Panda for lunch, not dinner. Plus I work nights 4 evenings a week so I think these are out for me.
