Last try tomorrow with MF audits

I've been screwing these up all week.

I seem to forget one thing each time, or get something wrong.

Tomorrow I've got an am fast food and 2 gas shop/audits.

Does anyone have advice about cheat sheets for the gas shop/audits?

31+ pages of instructions with tiny photos may be a bit too much for me.

My cheat sheet is less than 1/2 a page. I start out listing required photos, do I need to make a note of what's on the pump toppers, etc. Since I do them for different companies and different brands, and they are all different in the details. Do I need to look for the air dispenser, etc. And I re-read my cheat sheet soon after completing the shop, so if I missed anything, I can go back and get it.
Thank you!

The first couple were overwhelming for me especially when I saw the 32 pages. They do get easier when you realize most gas stations do not carry all those types of fuels. There is a cheat sheet in those long instructions that is one page. Use that to get your required information and just check off the boxes. My first one was about 45 minutes but I can get them done in 15-20 now if the station is not too big. I just started to hate revealed audits so now I avoid them.
I prefer either/or mystery/revealed. I'm finding that I don't really like to do both at the same place.

I agree. I'd rather do a revealed audit, first, or a mystery shop, second, before a shop with a reveal. However, I have been getting a lot of work with Maritz since I moved so I won't complain too much.
Maybe create an outline you can understand yourself in a quickness when going through the actual guidelines?

This is what I did when I was performing gas station audits for another company. Basically it was a list of everything that needed to be checked. I knew what the standard was, so it was easy to know what needed pictures. The MF ones that I've done are all for the same client, and I find it slightly easier to print the paperwork and have it on a clipboard. I don't do that many of them, so I find that it works pretty well to use that to guide me along. You might consider only taking the 'checklist' page with you and using that along with a memo on your smartphone to give more details to yourself?

You could also download the PDF onto your smartphone and refer to it as you go. That way you can zoom in and look at the pictures more closely if you need to reference them.

Just my 2 cents!
