Deli Meat Grocery Shops

Have the deli meat with total $12 purchase shops moved from the usual MSC? I've done a bunch up to the beginning of September and put it on hold to eat through the pantry I built up. Now I am looking for them and none are showing up. Even if they are all assigned, shouldn't they show as being able to apply as a backup?

I'm worried that the scheduler who mainly contacted me for these has blocked me from the client. I told him I was taking a break so stopped responding to his multiple phone calls, texts, and email each day. I started to filter them so they wouldn't clog my main MSing inbox. I just found a strongly worded email that I did not respond to.

If you're speaking of the $12 deli meat OR cheese shop, they have not changed MSC. I did one last night.

Interesting, yes this is the one I am referring to.
No change, but they go fast....why not call the scheduler, tell him your back.

You don't have to spend the full $12 in the deli.

nope...only 1/4 lb of Boar's Head product (could be any of their cheeses or their meats) about $2.50-ish worth and not all of their products are processed. The balance of the $12.00 can be spent on whatever you items you want.

i suggest you check the lost and found for your pearls.
I saw them posted this morning. Still thinking if it's worth
I am only taking projects that are worth my time and efforts and paying Atleast 10 dollars as fees. This one seems nice because I can spend on the grocery I need.

Pconfused smiley I got 1 assigned! Let see if it's worth.

@Borncutemom you might like it. I just got my 4th one assigned. It is not hard and I too feel that I can get the groceries I need.
I find them tedious, however it seems to help once in awhile to give the old grocery budget a break. This month I'm loading up on them.
I think you are being blocked from the project. It happened to me as well. I am not so sure what is the reason from being blocked. But (MSC) has been not too friendly lately.

Mod note: Name of MSC removed since client previously listed in the thread.
It's still around, but I noticed one of my usual stores for this particular project is just a regular $9 shop now?!?!? SAY WHAT??? Perhaps they decided it wasn't worth the hassle of carrying the product. I have shopped many stores in my area that are more popular and busy that do not carry the item. *sigh* but I've managed to snag a few shops. Unfortunately my day job schedule alternates every 6 weeks and this round I work until 6:30-7pm so shops are few and far between. Going to snag up two tomorrow with enough coffee. Leave at 6:30, get to the first at 7 and rush on over to the second about 2 minutes away (weird they're so close, right?) .

Not all stores carry the Boars head deli, while most do, the ones without pay the 9+5.

While Boars Head may be a brand name, I would not be surprise with their bologna being made out of pigs brains. How pure of a real meat do you want with antibiotics and growth hormones in the pigs feed?smiling smiley

pearl-clutcher alert !!!!

and, btw, boar's head does carry a tasty teriyaki tofu that you might want to consider?
Isn't ALL bologna made out of parts we would rather not think about? When I do these I get sliced turkey breast or cheese. I wish I liked tofu.

definitely agree about bologna (ugh) and yep on the turkey (try the turkey pastrami....mmm) and cheese. and tofu (ugh) was a snark to the "pearl-clutcher".

TBH it's sometimes hard to tell when you're being snarky, because IMO you're ALWAYS being snarky. I guess that's part of your charm?
At any rate there is nothing wrong with being picky and concerned about what we put into our bodies.

agreed and i do confess that i glean a lot of very useful info from comments/posters but i have no trouble in calling out those who (imho) slash and bash with little or no substantiation for their own personal agenda(s). everyone is entitled to their own opinion(s) but not their own set-of-facts. and picky, yep, i am verrrry picky and i do stay away from bologna, etc.

I tried the BBQ chicken, it was excellent...I do get the turkey, cheese, and I love their Cole slaw, make a sandwich with Cole slaw wrapped in turkey, try not to eat bread daily...it's so good for dieting. Who and why would buy BH bologna for that price. I get white turkey pastrami sandwich at my favorite deli, will try it Saturday.

Any recommendations for cheese ? Which one and how much I should try to cover 3 dollars?

boar's head vermont white cheddar is about $10-ish lb and the minimum for the assignment is 1/4 lb (but watch out that the deli person doesn't give you less than 1/4 lb so ask for about 1/3 lb (which will cover for their inexact weighing).

If you like a creamy cheese, the Havarti is excellent. There are about three different versions of it (one plain, one dill, and I think one with peppers maybe). It makes a great grilled cheese sandwich and is also good cold on a sandwich. I find it on sale regularly.

Mystery shopping around Georgia.
Is no one concerned that the client and the MSC are both mentioned in this thread? Or is it ok because the name of the grocery store isn't mentioned?

nope, not mentioned

Mousegal, the best thing to do when you are concerned about an ICA violation is to click the ! at the bottom of the post and report it to a moderator. The moderator can determine whether it is an ICA violation or not and edit the post to remove any violation. I was concerned that raygene did mention the name of a company and I reported it to the moderator. So far it has not been moderated.

If anyone else believes it is an ICA violation, please report it so it can be moderated.

Oh, I definitely know which ones do and don't. But one of my regular Boars Head stores is now just a regular ole shop. I went in yesterday and sure enough, the cabinet only had store brands. No more Boars Head?!?!? Also, two other stores nearby that have way more traffic, have never actually carried it :/ I've even noticed the organic products disappearing from sales offerings in my area. Bummer! I mean, the shop is still the same for me, but I actually like those cheeses sad smiley My guy kinda depended on getting 1/4-1/2 lb of new cheese every few days to try.
