Market force CPI

What is the CPI? I just submitted a receipt with my shop and now they're asking me for a CPI? Is it me or is it difficult submitting shops with MarketForce?

Your CPI basically lists your "contract" for the shop. For Market Force, you need to sign it for each and every shop you perform agreeing to the terms, fee agreed for, etc.

No, it's not difficult to submit shops with Market Force, in my opinion.

Maybe I will get used to using market forces platform, I have heard of shoppers getting dropped from their system. I hope that is rumor Because their shops are pretty simple it's just getting used to using the platform I'm not used to.

Everything is very, very easy with Market Force. It's a great training place for newbies because of how easy it is and because they have good instructions.

Go to the Shopper Support Center and read the FAQs and Help Topics. There are a lot of instructions and everything is explained in great detail.

In the past you needed to print out the cpi and sign it by hand and scan it back in to send to them. Now you do it all online by just typing your name in.The instructions still say print it out and many still do just to keep the instructions handy in case of a problem later with the shop. I have never been asked for my printed copy of the cpi since they changed the system.

Not intended to be directed at you, sandyf, but for others who is still waste paper printing these CPI's out would be to just to save a PDF of it instead. Then you can print it out, if absolutely needed.

Until then, I agree with @roflwofl: check out the training materials that they have available. It won't be long at all before you know how MF wants your information, and then it will be easy for you too.

Just a disclosure for Tarantado and others, I myself have not printed out the cpi since they started the online thing. I have never had an issue and since the pay is so small for most of the jobs if I ever needed the cpi to prove something I probably saved more time, paper and energy by not printing them out OR saving them that I could forfeit the pay for one job. But I am not recommending my way to others. Everyone has to do what is comfortable for them.

That's what I do. Print it to CutePDF.

To the OP, follow the Submit CPI/Receipts link on the menu and there will be a link to click to submit your CPI next to each shop you've done.

CPI = Contracted providers invoice or perhaps Contractor's payment invoice.

Isn't Market Force the MSC that only requires a pulse to be a shopper for them?

It was the show's announcer, not MF, who said mystery shoppers only need a pulse to do the job. BTW, that announcer is now gone. Let that be a lesson to anyone else who dares to say the same thing

Your comment was a reference to the People's Court show. A shopper sued MF for not paying him for shops performed. (He lost). The MF attorney was interviewed at the end of the show by the show's announcer. It was the announcer, not the MF attorney, who said that all it takes is a pulse to be a mystery shopper. I was just setting the record straight. I'm not an MF apologist, but MF never said those words. There are a couple of threads with links to that episode of People's Court on Youtube.

I do the same thing. MF shops are mostly so low pay that it is usually not worth the time to dig up the proof.
