SMASHBURGER: Switched to new msc with a lowered $12.00 shop fee

Never did this shop with it's former msc which paid $17.00 and had a mixed reputation , but will try it now for $12.00 with it's new provider, for good or bad....

There is another thread on this topic. They have not switched MSC, but are now apparently using two MSC. There are both dine in and take out shops in my state available, with the original MSC.

I used to snatch these shops up. I absolutely fell in love with their burger the first time I had it. With each shop I completed, the food went downhill. The last time I did the shop I swore, never, ever again. It was a take-out order. I did not receive what I had ordered and ended up throwing the burger in the trash (couldn't get past the onion taste even after I removed the onions that weren't supposed to be on the burger, that I hadn't ordered). There was at least 1/4 inch of oil in the bottom on of the fries container.
That was a month ago. I haven't taken that shop since.

I guess I have to take some responsibility in that. I haven't been honest about how the food was received for fear of having the report rejected. I doubt they would have liked, "The burger was topped with a lukewarm, greasy bun. The sweet tasting sauce was so abundant that I spent an hour licking it off of my hands and arms."

Funny, this is the ONLY food shop I do. That's how much I "liked" them.

Are you sure of that? I see October jobs with the old MSC and November jobs with another MSC. I think we have to wait a few weeks before we know for sure.

Well, the other MSC hasn't released November jobs yet.... So yes, we will have to see.

$12 shop fee? Looks more like a $12 reimbursement with no shop fee....... Huge downgrade with no coupons allowed, unless the shop report is considerably less, which I doubt that it is.

The new guidelines are pending release. I took one shop so I can see the new guidelines. We might have a better idea if this is a transition or not by the middle of next month. Evem their current program with 5guys pays a fee, plus the same reimbursement. Smash costs as much, if not more. This no fee thing is a slippery slope for sure.

Wonder if it is a competitor shop for 5guys. If so, then the report should be less which would make it more appealing.

Shopping across Indiana but mostly around Indianapolis.
