Any cosmetics and fashion/retail shops?

It seems some of the cosmetics and fashion shops have disappeared. Which mystery shopping companies are offering these shops now? I'm in California, by the way.

Following -- I am wondering the same thing. There was a cosmetics shop in particular that did not involve a specific makeup artist that used to be one I loved. They disappeared.
I used to enjoy a makeup shop that had a generous reimbursement, plus you usually got some kind of makeup help (don't want to be more specific so as not to give away client). Anyway, that shop seems to be gone from the particular company that used to do it since it's not listed on the certifications anymore. This is motivating me to sign up with more companies!

They seem to be gone, haven't done any for About Face in months, same with NSS who lost their biggest account. Bummer....

I've done them for Albatross and NSS. Didn't know NSS lost the big client bummer... I wonder if it will be picked up by someone else?

Why are you posting the exact same thing the OP posted?
My guess would be that a new shopper has decided to create two different accounts - which I believe is against forum rules, no?

Shopping up and down the Colorado Rocky Mountain front range.
My guess would be that enchantressco tried to quote the OP and respond and didn't quite understand how so ended up quoting with no text added.
I am not enchantressco. I only have one account - this one (Shopper9). rolflwofl is probably correct on why enchantressco repeated what I posted.

Anyway, does anyone else know if other mystery shop companies have picked up the cosmetics shops that have disappeared?

Are there any more department store clothing/accessories/cosmetics shops? Those have disappeared as well.
I have yet to find any cosmetic shop.
I think I need to sign up more.
The MSC that boasts a gazillion shoppers and uses off shore phone callers just had a cosmetic makeover listed in my area...they come up every few months, so must be quarterly. They pay a fee of $17.00 and you get to have a complete makeover....not my cup of tea, but just so OP knows.
I still see Aveda posted fairly frequently, it's a low reimbursement and no fee.

I did Aveda about a month ago for $30 and $20 reimbursement.
Nordstroms and Neiman Marcus used to be shopped but haven't seen any during the holidays. Since alot of the retail shops aren't making the sales like they used to (Macy's, JC Penneys, Sears) maybe they aren't having anymore shops for awhile.
About Face is still requiring quizzes. I haven't seen any since for over a month.

Live your life in such a way that when your feet hit the floor in the morning; the devil shudders...And yells OH #%*+! SHE'S AWAKE!
About Face now sends me their Mexican grocery which they are having trouble scheduling and have a ton of them here. I used to do their cosmetics, but haven't seen any, or gotten emails for them in 6 months. I think the high end retail and cosmetics stopped the program. I haven't seen them all with the two MC's that used to do them. Shame, I miss them, they were a big income supplement for me and fun.

I'm also in CA, and yes, the cosmetic and fashion shops are gone. Between age requirements, losing clients,
and many new shoppers in my town, I'm doing restaurants and grocery, not making much $...sad

I've never seen any Aveda shops, though there are some Aveda stores in my area. Is it a payment of $30 plus a $20 reimbursement?

The reimbursement was 20.00 and the fee was $30 which included a bonus. I'm not sure what the fee was originally.
There are some cosmetic and fashion shops that are in airports, but they require airport security clearance, which means you have to be traveling, or you work at the airport.

Unless bonused, there is no fee for the Aveda shops. Just a $20 reimbursement.
Saks is still shop. I just saw an assignment for one in Cali but not any near me.

There used to be a high-end clothing shop that provided a high reimbursement. That one disappeared from my area as well. It was very hard to get - it was always grabbed immediately. I checked back constantly, but others always grabbed it faster. How did they manage to get those shops?!

Are there any high-paying or high-reimbursement clothing shops still around?

I saw one but now there is an age requirement, so that leaves me out. forgot what MSC....

I see a lot of high-end retail still, but most are just shops, no purchases. Or some purchase and return.
There's a shop for Dior in San Francisco, It was an observation shop. If anyone's interested, it was listed on the jobslinger site.
I heard that a while ago, Sephora was being shopped. I've never seen any Sephora shops, though. Sephora service seems to be a hit or miss, so it doesn't look like they're shopped these days.

Are there any Ulta shops? How about Sally Beauty?

Any there any hair salons, nail salons, facial treatment, or spa shops?
Sentry used to do a massage/hair removal shop. It was a chain/franchise business.
