Bestmark shop...anyone have this happen before?

I had a shop scheduled for monday and i just got an email saying it was cancelled due to client changes. Then i just checked the available shop page and that same shop which was cancelled is listed as available...anyone have any thoughts?

That stinks! Maybe the guidelines changed and it's a gender they prefer or age? I've never had that before- I've only had shops canceled indefinitely.

Perhaps the Client changed some of the requirements and the MSC reposted the job. Does not sound like a "omg" moment. or the MSC has not had a chance to pulled the shop yet off the site. Still not a "omg" moment. smiling smiley

The email did also mention that this cancellation will not affect my cancellation rate.

Hmmm I had this happen with MarketForce this week. The shop requirements changed a lot though. They were doing a heavy item shop and now they're doing a furniture shop. Ah well.

I was thinking what Sojo was them not pulling yet.
On the other side, if the changes are to go into affect right away, the shop maybe available for you still,. they just want to make sure you know the changes, in case you already have your guidelines/paperwork, etc...They want to make sure you have the updated paperwork, and canceling it may be the only way to ensure that.

I've had Bestmark cancel a shop for a reason with similar wording. My shop had been scheduled on some kind of holiday, like Martin Luther King Day or President's Day, when the business is typically open, but the company decided not to have "shoppers" on the day. It was all very reasonable.
