submitting photos to Maritz

I was not able to download pdf photos to the Maritz site. I tried emailing the company the pdf versions and now just received another email from the company stating that the shop is in jeopardy of not being reimbursed since they did not receive the photos. Does anyone have any advice of what I should do? Maybe call the scheduler? Does anyone have the telephone number for Maritz? Thank you for any help you can offer.

Are you uploading a pdf or a photo?

.pdf is not a photo, it is a file. You have to save your photos as .jpg or .jpeg. If you are using a scanner, be sure to select image, not file. If you are saving from your phone, be sure to select to "save as" .jpg or .jpeg. None of the MSC's sites allow uploading .pdf files; at least none I use do.
@queenie1----->trying scanning your photos in to your computer and uploading them into your report.

Not true. There are some MSCs that want there receipts uploading in pdf's.smiling smiley
There is a free great website that converts your pdf to jpg I use it all the time since I have XP and lost my MS Office software. grinning smiley
[pdf2jpg.net] Convert PDF to JPG online, PDF to JPG free converter

There is also sites to resize pictures as I sometimes do not have the right size the pizza dad requires. smiling smiley
BTW, for the old/new school shoppers------->if you take your photos with a camera ( a device for capturing a photographic image or recording a video, using film or digital memory). You can set a 4x6 jpeg setting, in the image mode. And with a USB cord, scan the pictures into the computer.

4x6 jpeg images seems to be the standard size for many MSCs, whether they want to own up to it or not. Anything bigger is a headache, and anything smaller is a migraine.grinning smileygrinning smiley
Thanks for the info on pdf converter sbobgal. One of the free batch resizers is pixresizer. I like to keep my original photos in high resolution and re-size as there have been occasions where I had to zoom for a requested shot from an editor.
If the report is placed on hold use the resolve button on that shop and add the JEG at 800 x 600 resolution where it is needed. ALL MaritzCX shops are JEG at 800 x 600 resolution. You will find MaritezCX phone number on the web site under Contact us. I have found that "sending a message on a current shop" is better than calling. It might take days for them to respond but I have found that 80% of the time it is the next business day. I have found it is wise to keep all photos you take on a file that you can access later for you will always have an editor asking for one that he does not like that you turned in.
