Jeff,
You can name the MSC OR you can name a client. But you cannot name both in the same thread. No problem.

I don't know if Rousseau is rare or lucky. I don't care for them, work for them rarely, but don't recall being treated disrespectfully.

The arrogance the company displays to myself and others is appalling. I'm done with them. They make rare schedule changes difficult and often respond to questions or issues with rude remarks.
Just one question before a gentle suggestion that other companies may suit you. How do you know that this company displays arrogance or anything else to others, such as shoppers? Do you have insider information that the rest of us don't have? Just curious. smiling smiley

Yes, I know other shoppers. I like most shoppers have friends and know other shoppers and socialize with them. I'm hoping and thinking most of us do.

Arrogant and rude are subjective. Can you give examples? I only shop for them on the rare occasion the bonus money is good. As a newbie shopping for them more often I only recall two issues with them, neither of which involved anyone being rude. My scheduler at that time was actually the epitome of a nice guy even when I once canceled a shop after learning it was a reveal.

When a scheduler writes "the problem was you" I consider that arrogant and rude. It was over a simple schedule conflict. The shop was only a $3 payment to add insult to injury. I will limit or discontinue performing shops for them and alert everyone I know about them.
I do shops for them once in awhile and everyone has been nice and payment was timely. To each his own I guess.
Back in the day, they used to offer veterinary care shops, which I took full advantage of. I never had any issues. I have not worked for this company in a number of years - since all I ever see are automobile shops.

On those very rare occasions where I have wanted to change a shop date, I have always been able to do so online. Likewise, the very few times I have asked questions, I have been met with respectful answers followed by phrases such as "Thanks for calling," "Have a good day," and "Let me know if you have any further questions."

I only do a handful of shops for them each month. While their pay is not fantastic, I continued to complete assignments for them because they have been so consistently easy to work with.

I do not know if my experience is rare or not. However, I would be interested in knowing about why you have concluded that "The arrogance the company displays to...others is appalling." What is your N? What survey methodology did you employ to arrive at that conclusion? Or are you projecting a negative opinion based on a few random anecdotes? If that is the case, perhaps you might be best to re-evaluate your conclusions.

Whoa. What a great introduction you've made with your first post. You bash a company without giving any details. You give very little information about your experience with the company when questioned by other forum members about your reasons for your post. And, when Rousseau disagrees, clearly outlining his experience with the company, you start to bash him.

Think about this. Stamping your foot and telling Rouseau he is arrogant because of his disagreeing post makes it really clear to me that you ARE the problem here. Bestmark apparently figured it out and I'm sure with your 7th bash post, everybody here can figure it out.

Oh, btw, I don't work for Bestmark so I don't have a dog in this hunt. I'm just an observer to this ridiculous thread.
They DO change reports. Saw that one plain and clear at an upscale store. Saw MY report with a specific sentence and the report HAD been changed. They of course denied they had the store pass when it was a fail.

Hmmm.....I thought he was referring to MarketForce.
I only did a few jobs for Bestmark back in '09. I left because most (but not all) of their jobs did not pay anything at all, and I needed a job that would help me pay my bills. I did not experience any disrespect from the company.

I have been shopping for them for over a year. The only 'problem' I have had were shops for a certain client disappearing out of my shop log. My scheduler, who is very kind and respectful looked into it and all he could tell me was that they had been assigned to another shopper. After the second or third time this happened I did not sign up for these shops anymore. My scheduler sends me emails he knows I am interested in and will schedule for me upon my reply.
They do have a lot of automotive shops and unfortunately I cannot take advantage of them.
