USPS Shop Date Switch

For those that do USPS shops, have you had your dates switched on you? Last week, I applied for a hazmat shop for 5/1-5/5. Today I was assigned those jobs for 5/29-6/2. That's a big difference!

Hazmats have to be done to weeks after a regular box was done. So I never apply for hazmat expecting it to be in the date frame that it is. I also never apply for any that are a far distance because chances are I'm not gonna be able to build that trip because they'll be all over the map in terms of the dates.
She sent an email about the change. If you didn't reply with your choices, you were assigned the date that she needed.
Yes I got a very nice email from the scheduler first asking for my preferences for the date change and explaining the reason. She also gave an out if we could not change the date. Perhaps other parts of the country did not get that notice.
Thanks for the info, all. I got an email that said "It is possible that the shop dates you have been assigned have been altered slightly, due to being too close to other shops assigned/performed. If these dates work for you, great! If they don’t, please respond to this email suggesting an alternative date range (Monday through Friday)."
I can do those dates, so I didn't respond. But I was still surprised at the big difference in dates (not "altered slightly" as claimed). Every shop has it's quirks and it's good know know about this one. Thanks again.
Once I applied for a shop with one date range and then it was assigned with a different date range. I panicked because I was going to be out of town during the new dates. I emailed the scheduler and explained the problem and we found a date that worked for both of us. It seems like they want to have so many shops done each date range and move them around as needed.
I was assigned the location just a couple of miles from my house, so I told the scheduler I could be flexible. I got a response that, since I only had one shop, she would leave it as is.
