Grocery shop with Boars Head product

I did a grocery shop where specifically requires a purchase of a Boars Head product (cheese or meat). The requirement were to have the Associate slice it for you so you can watch and have an interaction. When it was sliced up, the Associate put it in the grocery stores own packaging with their own label. When it was rung in to the register it does not specifically say Boars Head on the receipt. The company I did the shop for had questions about the receipt not saying Boars Head. How is it done without giving you away as a Mystery Shopper?

Did they pay you for it? The company sent me a message to confirm that I bought a Boars Head product.
You sure the store sliced Boar's Head, like you ordered? Take a picture of the label on the package. Maybe the product, as well. Just in case.
The receipt has BH initial's on it and the price (very small)...you have to highlight it with a yellow marker or it won't show during the upload. i do these all the time....the instructions say to highlight.

Yes they paid me for it. If you look under issues, as soon as they see your e-mail they should say "Resolved"
The one I did, I had bought Boar's Head product, saw him take the Boar's Head out of the case but on the label he put a private brand so my receipt said the private brand not Boar's Head. After I explained what happened they sent it through and paid me.
The same thing happened to me. Watched clerk take the correct meat from the case but it was mislabeled and I didn't notice until I got home. This was the same shop where I was short .11 cents. I sent email to scheduler and explained. Was reimbursed for the food but not paid for the shop (because of the .11 cents.)

I had that happen once. I noticed the label while I was at the deli area and asked if it was Boars Head and was told yes. In my report I mentioned the conversation and had no problem.
So I'm curious- Does that mean that they're not charging you for Boar's Head (which is always the most expensive) or does it mean that their POS is just not labeling the BH product accurately?

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
Mine was just labeled incorrectly.

It's a good idea to check the label when they hand it to you. If it doesn't say Boar's Head, they may be on to you (look at their face, you can tell). However, I've had that happen and I say I have a coupon so it needs to have the Boar's Head label.

Depends, in my case, they were training new deli associates and she rung up store brand cheese not realizing the different code for BH vs store brand.

I said something to the sr deli associate and was told that is okay, just take it. I reported it in the comments to the MSC and was paid.

Another time, it was not rung up at checkout and I got it for free. Again, took a photo of the deli package and wrote a note and got paid.
@spicy1 what makes you think they are on to us if they don't put a Boar's Head label on it. I can imagine they have a lot of people who buy Boar's Head.
I'm saying that has happened to me; I can tell by their lingering look and the fact that I've purchased the Boar's Head, I specifically asked for the Boar's Head and they tell me "It's ok, it's cheaper....". That's all.
I don't ask for Boar's Head (per the guidelines) unless they don't take out Boar's Head.

Right, we ask generically for cheese or meat. Then, make sure we purchase Boar's Head. Then, even if they give us Boar's Head and the label says PS we tell them to fix the label and my reason to tell them to fix the label is to say I have a coupon for Boar's Head; problem solved!
I shop at least 3 locations for this grocery chain every week. I have done literally hundreds of them and have never had this happen. If it ever does, I will just explain it to the MSC. This MSC has always been very understanding when the store has done unusual things beyond my control. I just use the last space in the form to tell them what happened. That's what that space if for, right? With the technology in today's smartphones, there is always a way to CYA in case you're worried and want to prove your story.

I' m with you...hundreds of these shops, never had it happen, most people out here buy only Boar's head, no asking, they give it unless otherwise specified. Private label is the only other brand they carry here.
