Just got an email that 15 of 50 stops on my route were cancelled due to having the wrong address (as in they listed the wrong state). Instead of heading out of town I am planning a whole new route. I'm thinking they better bonus this re-worked route!
Easy day. All within 5 miles of home.
Lego
Chevron
Little Caesars
Smashburger
Blaze Pizza

(plus I took today and got paid - vacation time)
Technically, I worked. There were bonuses, a quick visit to a fave store, and a long drive in the beloved open spaces. It was a good shop day.

Today was Roti for lunch. That big burrito will feed me until Friday.

Tomorrow is the library around the corner from work. This is a new MSC for me, and a new client for them.

Thursday is a cafe in the a museum. Their menu is pretty impressive. I plan on bringing the meal home for dinner.

Friday is a gas station/convenience store.

Yes, it was. This is a new to me scheduler for this MSC. She has to go through her ploys before she understands I will not fall for them.

The last scheduler tried to bundle undesirable pizza shops with my gas station shops. No way!

Today was a library close to work. It did not hit all of the metrics. I was, however, very happy that I did not observe any of the undesirable activities that they listed in detail.

Today was supposed to be a cafe shop at an art gallery close to work. I was looking forward to it, but had to cancel due to bad weather. The guidelines said not to do do the shop if the weather was bad.

Did the bottom of the barrel grocery, smelled so bad, I got out in 12 minutes, and yes, I said so in report and won't do it again. I think I'm done with groceries, just over it.

A credit union and then a garage at an upscale department stop. Hope I can resist their wonderful sale prices this time. The rest of today's shops had to be shifted into next week.

What do you mean by "bottom of the barrel grocery?" Something like Aldi?

That's the thing with some of these shops. We could get paid $25 and buy something a lot more expensive. I did a LV shop, and was convinced for a week or two that I needed this 5k purse they had. It was not worth the money for that shop.
Aldi isn't "bottom of the barrel." It has a different look and feel from a chain grocery.

Today is a lunch shop at the National Gallery of Art!

I LOVE Aldi, but do not do those for MS. Great products; super clean stores here, grocery and paper staples at half the price for the SAME products as my local "regular" grocery store. Soooo glad to see them expanding in my locale. And, they pay their employees a living wage and STILL keep prices low by paying their vendors in cash, and not trying to carry a ton of brands of the same items.

I regularly shop at Aldi's as well. About 7 months ago, I was watching an employee unpack meat items to place on the meat shelves. The LABEL on the BOXES said "TYSON", as in, Tyson meat products. He was putting out their Angus Chuck Roasts with their generic label. I asked why it was coming out of a Tyson box, and he told me that Tyson sells products to Aldi's, but the label can't say Tyson. So it's the same product as the regular grocery stores, at a much less inexpensive cost!! Works for me!!!!
Same with many cereals, soups, canned fruit and veg, cookies, baked goods, cheese and milk products and so much more. The fresh blueberries come labels from the very same farm supplier, but cost 1/2 at Aldi's what they would cost at my former store.

I used to do my regular grocery shopping at Aldi's. The prices are great and so is the quality. They have a middle aisle that is like a treasure hunt. I bought a queen memory foam mattress with a $20 year warranty for $200. I especially love their K-Cups.

I redefined the way I look at food. It's no longer a habit for me. It's purely functional. I don't eat when I'm not hungry (hence, the smaller portions). My social activities (family excluded) do not revolve around food.

@Niner....Aldi is a palace compared to "shop 4 less". and it needs to be torn down...bad. I had to look for expired items and found many, plus the smell was , just trust me.

Three garages in the city will make a nice short day; then 2 video shops tomorrow. I have done so many financial/banking shops with bonuses, and have lined up more, this month so that I can slow down a bit this coming week and then work like crazy the last week of the month. Schedulers appear to have panicked early due to early Thanksgiving this year. We shall see if that means more, or fewer, than usual November shops with bonuses after the holiday.

I was trying to think of the opposite of Whole Foods, and thought of Aldi. I like them too. They are a owned by the same company that owns Trader Joe's, which is a wonderful store.
We are doing another restaurant shop today, heading to Philly, which is over an hour from us. The restaurant gets five star reviews and we have a $100 budget, so I am looking forward to it. Our dinner budget is normally $25, so these $100+ shops are quite a trip.
