Where Are You Shopping Today?

I've noticed that they start handing out extra money for the shops that did not get picked up over the weekend.

No, stand-alone buildings, full-service. Since no MSC has been mentioned, the ones I did today were for TD Bank. TD Bank is a large regional bank owned by Toronto Dominion Bank. It is the 7th target bank in the US by assets and has branches from South Carolina to Maine, operating in 15 states plus D.C. There are hundreds of TD Bank shops done every month.

Before it was TD Bank (in NJ, PA, DE, MD. DC and VA; it has different roots going back 150 years in New England), it was Commerce Bank and followed the same "open 7 days a week" retail model and used red as its primary color. TD changed to color scheme to green. A few years ago, the founder of Commerce Bank, Vernon Hill, decided to reprise himself and that has resulted in Republic Bank (in NJ and PA so far) which is a very rapidly growing bank. Republic's slogan is "The Power of Red is back". As far as I know, Republic is not shopped.

Weird. Banks are closed in CA on Sundays (unless they are inside another business). Maybe somebody will prove me wrong?

TD Bank runs Target's Red Card Credit Card.

There were Red Card credit card shops every month for a long time. I know because I worked at Target for awhile (side gig).

They also have the naming rights to the Boston Garden. That's where I saw the Pistons beat the Celtics from a suite. Sooooo fun.

I actually picked these up a week ago, no extra$$, and none left here in my town.

Here in SC, TD Bank bought out Carolina First Bank several years ago, but they have never been, and still aren't, open on Sundays in SC.

Interesting. I know that TD Bank is open on Sunday in Northern, VA because my son went to college there. I wonder where the dividing line is as far as being open on Sunday. There could be issues with state or local laws, for instance Bergen County is the last (of 21) county in NJ with Sunday Blue Laws, and TD has to keep its Bergen County branches closed on Sunday.

I landed a fluke of a Five Guys shop today. It's a phone shop for today only, with a bonus of $25. I went on the site to see if tomorrows shops were bonused, and this one was on the homepage.

In addition to FG, I have a gas station/convenience store, and follow up pictures from a shop I did this weekend.

One new home and one video apartment. Perhaps a JIB or two...

Sharkey's for dinner, had a bad storm overnight with another coming...so home bound till dinner.
@SCM, I do see many available Source groceries in your part of town, with mine gone, so maybe that's why you were bonused....supply in demand. I don't or ever have looked at doing these as making 5.00, not into nickel and diming... I look at it as having gotten 48.00 worth of groceries twice, saying shoppers do this for 5.00 is a put down...guess it all depends on how you look at things, positive verus negative.

Integrity fine dining ($200 reimbursement for 2) shop this evening. Seems like a strange combination, but it will take me 5 minutes to do the report. I did a upper level fast casual ($90 for 2 people) integrity shop two weeks ago, and it indeed took me 5 minutes to do the report. I like these. This promises to be the easiest fine dining shop I have ever done.

Nicely bonused grocery store today, I think it was a leftover from a flake at the end of last month? Too nice a bonus for the first week of a month.

I had a very pleasant surprise at my Five Guys shop today. I got a Cheese and Veggie sandwich with bacon. My total was under $11. When I looked at my receipt, they didn't charge me for the bacon. They added "extra bacon," which is no charge.

Garages where I can stay warm without walking very far (or at all)! This is supposed to be the last few days of winter weather for this region this year.
Sooo ready for spring weather !!

^^^^^^ Me, too, wales!! SOOooooo ready for warmer weather....it's been a colder than usual winter here in SC!!
And a very, very, very WET winter with LOTS & LOTS of rain!!! SOOOoooo ready for drier weather, but that remains to be seen!

Anyhow, 2 grocery shops, a Haagen-Dazs shop and a Staples HP revealed audit today.
Agree with above, more rain, hard pouring, flooding, I'm lucky my house is build on bedrock with stairs, so we never get floods, but many areas have huge problems, yes, Spring will be welcome. Dinner at Sharkey's, first time for this one, went online and menu says healthy Tex Mex, so looking forward, with my favorite company and favorite scheduler,.they don't come any nicer...smiling smiley

Today is Ace Hardware. It was originally scheduled for Friday. A scheduler called and asked if I could do it today so they could meet their deadline. I said yes, and she doubled the fee.

I'm going to use the fee and reimbursement to get a hose that I need.

I usually work for cash, but I need stuff for my house. I'm happy to work for a low fee if I can get items that I need.

The scheduler who called me told me she was changing the date for my shop on Friday. I asked her if there were any changes, and she said no. I found out when I started the report that she assigned a new shop to me. The guidelines were completely different. I had to cancel both shops. I'm peeved, but I got my hose.

HonnyBrown,

Check out Seelevel. They have some shops in places that sell hoses. As far as I know, the shops would not reference hoses, and you could just be a customer who wants a hose and to check out the shop's items. However, the base fee would go.. maybe up to half or a third of the cost of a hose? You are great with getting bonuses. I do not know if this is even possible. I merely mention it... Also consider Alta 360.
