The scheduler who called me told me she was changing the date for my shop on Friday. I asked her if there were any changes, and she said no. I found out when I started the report that she assigned a new shop to me. The guidelines were completely different. I had to cancel both shops. I'm peeved, but I got my hose.

Today is Ace Hardware. It was originally scheduled for Friday. A scheduler called and asked if I could do it today so they could meet their deadline. I said yes, and she doubled the fee.
I'm going to use the fee and reimbursement to get a hose that I need.
I usually work for cash, but I need stuff for my house. I'm happy to work for a low fee if I can get items that I need.

HonnyBrown,
Check out Seelevel. They have some shops in places that sell hoses. As far as I know, the shops would not reference hoses, and you could just be a customer who wants a hose and to check out the shop's items. However, the base fee would go.. maybe up to half or a third of the cost of a hose? You are great with getting bonuses. I do not know if this is even possible. I merely mention it... Also consider Alta 360.

VVT, I love it when shops can benefit more than my wallet. Which phone did you get?

About twice a year. I have a friend who works at the Roastery.@MFJohnston wrote:
There should be plenty more to do up there. Do you make it to the PNW often?

My kid got into every university to which she applied. So we are seeing University of Oregon, Lewis & Clark and University of Washington next week.

Congratulations to your kid!!
My folks live literally across the street from Lewis and Clark in Portland... I graduated from Washington (both BA and MA) - it's a fantastic school. I actually live less than ten minutes from campus... As for Oregon... Why would anybody want to be a Duck?!
Let me know if you want any "scouting" information on the neighborhoods around either LC or UW.
