Today I have my house carpets being cleaned. Worst part of mystery shopping is finding a great company and knowing that you will be having them back out and the next time you will have to pay for the service! LOL

Honny, Jiffy Lube shops are thick on the ground in the DMV, and you are told to use a coupon (on line) but get the full (before discount) reimbursed, plus a small fee. Super simple report. (Haven't paid for an oil change since 2005).
Now that I have gotten essential household and personal chores out of the way, I am starting April shops. Today features a garage at a major clothing store (which just happens to have a big sale) and one a block from my favorite charity resale shop. Net income for the day appears to be in danger !

I had to read this twice. I thought that you were shopping a garage (mechanic) in a department store!

SoCal, I do 15-30 or more garages (parking garages) per month, among other shops. These are cash integrity shops and are very different from most parking-related shops.

Today, a valet (garage) shop one block from a bank loan shop with a hefty bonus. Then, many personal errands and taking a non-driver neighbor to the grocery store. (not a shop).

I know. It's your specialty. Just the way you worded it - I thought that there was a Jiffy Lube inside a Macy's.

I do bar integrity shops. It's my groove. It's a very small company, but they pay travel and sometimes just throw in a free room at the hotel. I just shop the bars. I had to buy a flask, since I can't drink 10-15 drinks in a few hours. Just like your parking attendants steal "hand over fist", so do my bartenders and buffet servers.
Posponed my huge bank job for today as Trump will be in Beverly Hills and traffic is off the hook.
Informa was extremely nice, answering immediately...so, no work today, will look for a lunch Monday to go along with bank. Have an idea, fingers crossed.

Thanks wales! I do the shops regularly, but I wait until the bonuses are over $20. That is happening less and less. The other option is to get a freebie from the dealership.

I did 5Guys for a bonus on Thursday. I gave most of the fries to coworkers.

Parking garage, Shake Shack and Sprinkles...lots of calories today.
The 5Guys I shopped this week had a breakfast menu. That was a first.

Fine dining tonight, fine dining Sunday, fine dining Monday, not so fine dining Tuesday, same place Thursday.
This can't be healthy. I had vegetables only tonight, but I did eat the roll at the start of the meal. Tomorrow is a nice Italian restaurant in a major city.

Surely the ordering requirements of your fine dining shops do not disallow vegetables ??

I ordered meat and two vegetables. For some reason, I thought I would order duck. I thought it would be like chicken. It was not. I did not eat it.
I normally will order a protein without sauces with low carb vegetables, so chicken with broccoli, or something similar. Then they put the bread basket down. I try to ignore it, unless it's really good bread.

My husband ate it. I was so confused. It made no sense to me how poultry had the consistency of steak. It objectively tasted good. I could not get past the texture and appearande.

I read the guidelines for my Ace Hardware shop. Instead of Lawn and Garden, my topic was Hardware.
I was able to get a set screw for a fixture that kept falling off the wall, and an adjustable nozzle for my garden hose. On top of that, I was able to round up and donate to a local children's hospital.
Great shop!
