Dental Mystery Shopping Jobs

Nothing in my area--and my dental plan includes the cleaning, x-ray, and exam already...but I like having my teeth cleaned and if I didn't have to do the other stuff as well, I would be open to going and getting my teeth cleaned at a different dentist. I don't know of any dentists who would just clean someone's teeth without them getting the other stuff done as well, anyway.

I like doing these shops in order to get in an extra cleaning. I still go to my regular dentist two times a year, and then if a shop is available, I can get a third cleaning that year.

Another MSC has posted dental shops on the job board, $35 fee and $150 reimbursement. The scheduler's state is Florida, though I have seen the shops in other states as well.
I have not seen any of these posted for my area and I would be willing to do one. Too bad we can't share the company on here.
Princessshopalot, I have seen two companies post these shops on the job board section of the forum. Take a look, and maybe they will have shops in your area. [www.mysteryshopforum.com]
Even if the post isn't for shops in your state, sign up with those MSCs to see if they have anything in your area eventually.
I would love to do some of these. I don't have dental insurance and am currently going to a low income clinic and paying $50 for a cleaning every 6 months. My last one was in February.
That's odd. The dentist I currently go to did my first exam and first cleaning on the same day. I didn't have to come back for the cleaning (did have to come back to get a cavity filled though!)
A comment of caution: All that glitters is not gold. I accepted and completed a video assignment to travel 268 mls. round for a cleaning. My pay was to be $250+ the charges were waived by presenting a form. What I failed to consider was that with a bright light shining on me and a dentist inches from my chest, my wiring would be noticed. The dentist reported what she saw and my fee was cut in half. In that I could have had the service through Groupon in my hometown for an average of $50, my pay for a five hour drive @ $.30 a mile computes to a net of $19 an hour, which would have been much worse had the 1/2 fee not been paid.

If I were to attempt another such shop, it would definitely not require any distant travel nor the advancement of a dime.
@shopperbob

Wow...thanks for sharing your experience. Good food for thought. Glad you at least got a partial payment.
