How many "Senior" Shoppers Out There???

Nice to know I'm in good company. And, no, I'm not a little gray haired granny! (Well, I'm proud to be a "grannie" and a newbie mystery shopper).

My mom goes with me quite often. She's along for the freebies (to her) but will not touch a report. LOL Actually one of my first few shops was taking her and my Grandmother to Fuddruckers. They both were in love with the Malts.
Hi There, Good to hear about Irene. This is my 80th year on this wonderful Earth. I will be 81 in October, and have been shopping for 15 years. I started out doing fast food shops and have moved on from there. I am glad to see younger shoppers coming into this industry. Mystery Shopping has changed a great deal. There is now discrimination in our world regarding Age. I hope that changes. Shops I did just a few years ago are now only relegated to up to age 65. I love mystery shopping because we all do so good for making customer service better. I have a full time career which I think I will semi-retire in the Fall. Yet, mystery shopping will still be my thing to do. Thanks for writing about this topic.

I thought I was the oldest...welcome.

Live consciously....
I'm hanging out on the lower end of the spectrum. I started shopping at 25 and I have a relative who stared shopping at 22. I'm 28 now and I've gotten a bit more selective with shops but it's so great to know this opportunity is out there and feasible at any age.

I'm 55 and have been enjoying MS for 16 years. I chuckle sometimes doing bank shops. The bank reps have interesting and polite ways to ask if I qualify for Sr. programs!
A Closer look.

Most jobs I can still do with all companies. Some restaurants no and no Eddie Baur.

I did regular shopping for 10 or so years - but found s I neared the 'senior' age (in Canada it seems to be more likely to be 65) more and more shops were limited in age. I'd be interested in knowing which companies, in Canada, still have open minds
