sounds like another dont feed the troll moment. hope some food & dining schedulers read thread soon.
It doesn't require a degree. It does require honesty. And no, she is not kidding. Behavior such as yours does result in more requirements for ethical shoppers. If you don't need the money, why participate in a business so beneath you in the first place.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

I know some shops require one person and some require two people. Which is fine. And most require timings and all. But if you are buy yourself and you use your phone other than for pictures, timigs, nsmes and other stuff then MS than you not alone.

People who play on their phones at the table. (Other than MS) must think their games or whatever is more important then talking to the server. So chances are if the order is messed up its your fault for not paying attention to the sever
I understand that timings are critical, and clients demand accuracy. Shoppers should do whatever they legally can do, to get the required information and get paid.

I dislike the presence of phones during meals. If I am by myself, I want a book or an opportunity to watch people. If I am with someone else, I want to be with them, not their handy dandy mystery shopping timing devices. But that is just me. There are so many people who want the meal shops that I am free to avoid them. Huzzah! smiling smiley

Well, I have to do them with some hotel shops. But I rarely do those now because one job has a new schedule and I only have a few days per year for hotel shops. Again, huzzah! smiling smiley I mean, I am thrilled for other shoppers who love the meal shops.

I had wondered if this would be acceptable or would get it thrown out. Like if I ordered another entre to go.

It would be wrong to deliberately not follow the guidelines. If doing the wrong thing doesn't bother you, you might get away with it. IF the receipt did not show that you ordered something to go, and IF the receipt did not reflect that there was only one guest, AND IF you lied in your report, since you would know that you deliberately did a shop by yourself that called for two diners, the MSC would not know and would probably accept your report. If the receipt reflected one person and/or showed a to go order, the report would probably be rejected. If accepted, the MSC could always come back and decline it later. Even it you got a good rating on your report, if the client viewed the video and challenged the report, it would be very embarrassing for the MSC. The MSC would probably view it as fraud and would most likely deactivate you as a shopper. Then, they might go on Volition's Scheduler Forum and post your name as a fraudulent shopper. Even if you don't mind being dishonest, is it worth the risk?
