Job Security, Mobility, and Skill Transfer

You don't know the purpose of the OP. No one does. But what if it was someone who was going to use expertise that was earned from hard work by experience shoppers for some other sort of gain? It's possible.

2) the company/job op doesn't work for
3) skills learned from ms are ones op will never learn because he doesnt want to listen to anyone by himself

Who is bored?
you
Look, it's a very similar writing style to that of someone who recently got kicked off the forum because they had some motives that did not have to do with them wanting to become a mystery shopper, okay? I don't trust people who come in here asking questions like that.

its called lunch break. eating sandwich & reading forum might be hard for some but easy for others. wish u luck
If that can be done, gleaning information from this forum to write a book, start a new forum or start a blog, I think Irene_LA will be doing that. She's working on it anyway. I wonder if her blog will be about mystery shopping. Irene_LA?

Lisa, I see that differently. If a cyber-hose were handy, I would have turned it on the lot of you. But there was nothing like that available at the time. Alas.
y r u here in this forum then? boredom? no social life? no shops?

Did you miss my other post? Well, maybe that post was not clear. If so, please forgive me and accept this little offering instead.

I now work more at another job than I do in this industry. I still accept a few assignments in this industry.

Similar, but certainly not as polite. Perhaps yet another personality of the same troll.
I would completely believe that there was a major personality disorder going on with that previous troll, it's possible multiple personality disorder among many others, such as megalomania and narcissism.
So, only one person in the whole world has the same questions and we just jump on the word trolls? I've been on pokerstars playing poker, obviously, and sometimes people use the chat to call people "donks". That's the same as "trolls", "idiot newbies" on this site. I play in local poker championships and I win! Some people on pokerstars call me a "donk" because they don't know what they're talking about and they're just angry because they lost and they even call people "donks" when they win.

But don't many of us celebrate when we or others find a way to put this information to work for us and get higher fees, bonuses, money, routes, a video shop career, or some other goodie?

Someone recently started a thread to thank us (or whoever actually helped). That was popular. I am using the phone and cannot post a link quickly. The thread is on this board. The username begins with 'l'.

What is the difference?

Well go ahead and divulge everything, spicy, if you want. You go right ahead and do that.
I think we are defining this as a troll because the point of the post seems to be mainly to stir up tension and discussion about that, rather than adding a positive contribution to the community per forum guidelines. It's also a topic that had been discussed frequently here, so they either don't want to do the research, or just want to stir up controversy.
So, you have to know how to ask the question before you ask the question.

Anyone can go back and read the forum and copy and past to their site or book and then charge for it. I was getting a newsletter from someone named Kathy I think and she was obviously, basically, doing that.

Not at all, but when you post here, a note comes up with posting guidelines. I think that, "I came here to get questions answered, not to answer other shoppers queries or your own," is not a statement that falls within the posting guideline of adding a positive contribution.

There are multiple approaches to entering a forum and getting information. I feel like this is a poor example, which yields poor results. The majority of newbies approach in a polite and appreciative manner, and the members usually have no issues helping them.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
As I've written before, please DO NOT call someone a troll. Even if they are clearly a troll. It does not help the forum discussion, and usually has the effect of encouraging trolls to continue to post.

If somebody is violating the forum rules, please report the post. If the discussion is offensive in other ways, please report it as well. If you believe somebody is causing issues not covered by the forum rules, feel free to reach out to me at any point. Thank you.

If another forum member is rude, the best course of action is to ignore them, and not to increase the negativity on the forum by publicly pointing out their rudeness. Ignoring them will, in fact, be the most demoralizing course of action for any troll, and the most likely to drive them away.

I thought that person wasn't here any more :-(

It's a conspiracy, Lisa.

Correct. That person is not here anymore. Some of us were just wondering if the OP could possibly be "that person" under a new name, that's all.
