LOL, sounds like this one belongs over in Stuff the MSCs say wrong....... do you think they intended the shop for last weekend but didn't get it assigned?
Don't you just love those wildly wrong instructions that you think could be caught by someone before they are posted?

I would have thought this except it's the first time I've seen this shop this month.

Yep and what annoyed me the most is that it came from am MSP that once docked my score a point because I did not caplitalize the word "associate".
It's kind of like Sesame Street talk for "one of these things is not like the other."
I just received in today's e-mail. "Fall is almost over. Get ready for back to school." I feel like Rip Van Winkle, must have just slept through the entire season. smiling smiley
I enjoyed receipt of the following a few days ago "Don't worry if the reimbursement amount reads zero (0). It was a technical error. You will be compensated that amount. PROMISE!! We are in the process of fixing it." Due to unfortunate wording it would appear that I am indeed going to be reimbursed zero, though I know that is not what they meant.

I got that one also!
Today, from the same company and for the same shop, I received a new email. Now it is to be shopped on Monday Aug. 25th or Friday Aug. 25th.
LOL.....be careful you don't become confused, accept and do the shop on the wrong date .... no excuses .... you won't get paid ......
In my case, I'm taking the kids to the pizza/games shop and got the end of the month bonus without going out of town because someone "forgot" and listed it with the extra $15 reimbursement in it. So I can buy pizza buffets and tokens and be "hero grandma" and only have to drive about 4 miles instead of 100. lol I'm assuming it was an oversite because all the other "close in" locations were at the lower price and this is the big place with the bumper cars and stuff. lol And the cool thing is I signed up for the shop three weeks ago. I got the end of the month bonus at the beginning of the month. wheeeeee lol
I got trapped on a shop where the dates listed for doing it were wrong. It was something like: shop from 8/20 thru 8/10. An obvious typo, right? But when I went to put in the report I got the news that I had shopped later than the last date assigned. Shop rejected! No excuses! No recourse! You vill obey!!!
I did a shop on a Wednesday and when I reported it I got it rejected because it was supposed to be done on the following Friday. Somehow the date was changed on the assignment. And I'm sure I didn't do that because the new date was the day I was leaving on a week's vacation at the shore. Go figure. Shop rejected!

Okay, look. This is a business. (My income tax filing says so.) I loose the purchase (a few dollars) so that goes on my expenses for the business. I'm sure the roofers get stuck sometimes on a job. I don't enjoy it, but it's just business. I suppose it hurts the MSP as well since they have to repost it and try again. You'd think they would try to make a shop work rather than just reject it. When little people get power they sometimes become too enamored with themselves. (And if you are thinking I mean the president ... well, I can't help what YOU think about.)

Then there is the one that tells you the guidelines are listed in the instructions. The instructions tell you to specifically shop only three departments. The three departments did not exist or the personnel went home but the shop still had a few hours left on the acceptable time to do it.

The e-mail from the MSP said that the two available departments should have been shopped , but if you violated the original instructions and guidelines and shopped those two remaining departments the editor would have rejected the shop because you shopped departments that were not listed in the guidelines and instructions.

Are you confused?

There was no way to perform the shop before the evaluator left the house but the MSP refuses to pay for the shop even though their guidelines and instructions were faulty!
Flash, I got that one as well..."0" please!! I got two confirmations, one from the scheduler saying the reimbursement is $140.00...then the client saying I've been accepted for the job and reimbursement is $185...I'll go with the client, that's what the original job stated, did the scheduler plan on lifting 40.00 from me,(or is my mind working overtime),

Live consciously....
I recently got a shop offer for dates that had passed...or so I thought. It was a shop that I was interested in doing, so I emailed the scheduler. Got a very snooty message back, "informing" me that European dates have the day first, then the month. 1. Duh...I know that and 2. The dates would still would have passed! Not to mention, if I'm receiving an email from a North American MSC, how on earth would I be expected to know that the guidelines were written by a European company?

Fast forward, the shop was assigned to me, and the dates were completely different altogether.
