Client Requested Information

I searched the forum but couldn't find a whole lot as these 'words' pull up a lot of posts.

I've done thousands of shops over last 7 years and this is a first - client wanted me to confirm if I fit the description they listed (age, hair, height). I responded to the email, but haven't heard anything back yet (just all happened today so I know I'm slightly impatient/paranoid/anxious).

This is my absolute favorite shop to do so I'm worried to all hell if they have a problem with me. The employees otherwise 'failed' the shop, or at least that's my impression of what happened based on the scenario. They didn't do what I interpret to be the point of the scenario, so I'm wondering if the employee or company are disputing, or maybe just looking into it.

First... I assume the communication was through the MSC and not directly from the client?
It sounds like they were confirming the accuracy of the shop on their security cameras.....The employees are likely challenging it.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
Hopefully you wrote down some extra info since it was a failed shop. "Black Nike tennis shoes with red laces" lets the company know it was John who told a customer in front of you to F off rather than Michael, even though they have similar appearances and he was wearing Michael's nametag.

Yes it's the MSC contacting me. I assumed they're likely challenging it, especially given the employee probably 'failed'.

And it does remind me I need to take extra 110% detailed notes. Never had an issue to date, but never know.
When I've done bar integrity shops, one of the questions has been "where were you sitting at the bar". That makes it easier for them to find you on the videos. They also ask that you describe what you were wearing and what you look like in the report.
If they know who you are, will you have to stop shopping for a period of time?
That wasn't my experience at all. I know of at least one occassion when they disputed my report, but after I told my side of the story I never heard anything else.

Also on the shops where I was asked where I was sitting, I continued to do those until I moved. The scheduler would call me to offer me those jobs, so I must have been doing them right and was never questioned about the shops;.
That is my concern. I've done lots of these particular shops and never had any feedback from a client. I've also done lots and lots of shops for this MSC and never had issues for any.

However, I travel a lot for work and pick up many on the road. So this was done in a city 9 hours from me and at a store I've never been to before. Sure they could identify me off one visit, but I'd think it'd be more likely if it was one I frequented 3+ times a year. But you'd also think if employees identify you, they'd be smart enough to use that to their advantage and kiss ass if anything. The employee in question pretty much failed.
