Hotel Inspection Audit?

Has anyone done this? It's a full reveal, with an LOA, interactions with employees and a minimum of 5 photos.

I was a travel consultant for over 14 years. I had to take pictures and write essays back in the stone ages, so it might be in my wheelhouse.

The pay is $25. It's enough to cover gas and 2 hours of my time ton site to break even. No it will not cover my report time.

That said I'd might think about trying it, since I need to build my day routes out, once again.

TIA, for any help & help.

I did these awhile back and loved them. Easy, and I don't think they took quite that long, but my memory may be playing tricks on me. Go for it!
The only ones I have done were bonused, and I was able to book multiple locations on a route. I don't think they are worth it without a bonus. WAY too many pictures = too much time invested in the shop.

Have synthesizers, will travel...
Thank you one and all. It's too late for me now, but I will try them in the future.

MA, next time why don't you send a very nice email asking for just a little bit extra to cover fuel and travel time?

Excellent idea! If we're all talking about the same company, they have been reasonable with bonuses in the past.

Unless the hotel is on the same street as your house, I don't see how you could make money if it takes two hours. Even at only ten miles, $11 of that is mileage leaving you $7 an hour before report time.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.

This is good advice & something to consider. I need to get myself back in that part of TX. My wham bam thank you shops are becoming thin. Plus, I'd still put less mileage on the car.

The ones I have done take about 15-20 minutes.

I have had some in the past that were closer to an hour, but never the full 2 hours. Should be a piece of cake for an experienced shopper.
This is all very good information. I need to figure out how to make my long day routes worthwhile or at least pay for the fuel.
