Chocolate

Suppose one wanted to mystery shop a store that sells chocolate. What MSC's would one perhaps take a look at? Asking for a friend.

Why would I not be serious?!
Also more specifically I am interested in chocolate stores that might be in outlet malls.

Errr. I mean the friend I'm asking for.

They used to have one in my area (at an outlet mall) but then they switched to international service check.... and the pay went from $5 to $0 and reimbursement went from $21 I believe to $18.... I have yet to do one since the switch.

I thought I remembered getting an email from a different company with these. But I just checked Satisfaction Services job board and they still have them listed. Weird.

The Russell Stover store in Oklahoma City was shopped but I don't know if they still are. And I don't remember the MSC. I moved out of Oklahoma City about 2 years ago, so it's been a while.
ISC has one and may bonus for some pay if asked.

Shopping Western NY, Northeast and Central PA, and parts of Ohio and West Virginia. Have car will travel anywhere if the monies right.

If you are being serious, I would try QAMS for one. At least in my area.

I wouldn't. QAMS is a 3rd-rate minor-league MSC. I have been doing this for 20+ years and QAMS is only the 2nd MSC I had delete my application. Mary and all there are bush league and lying S.O.B.s that I want nothing to do with
Why don't you tell us how you really feel? lol

I get the sense that QAMS is not your favorite, then?

Dang. I've only been shopping for 17 years, but I wouldn't call them 3rd rate. Not my experience with them at all (I've had very nice experiences), but so sorry to hear that you had issues. If they are 3rd rate, which MSCs are on your 1st and 2nd rate list, may I ask?
Not at an outlet mall, but I've done one for RBG in the last couple of months.

I did one over the holiday, it required an additional purchase. I did get a decent bonus otherwise would not do that shop again for the reimbursement which requires a chocolate bar purchase as well as two additional different items.

Try Shopper's Critique. Easy-peasy and good company.

Let me tell you, I had a boss that was a total jerk to me until I had some fancy chocolates in my desk and offered one to him. From then on, as long as I had the chocolates, he was nice to me, because he wanted them, and his wife wouldn't let him have sweets. As soon as I figured this out, I bought 10 pounds of the fancy chocolate rejects up in Freeport, ME. Best $5 I've ever spent.
Your bosses wife wouldn’t “let” him have sweets??? What a sad relationship for that guy! At least you were able to use his misfortune to your benefit.

Maybe he had diabetes or other health issues. We women are just looking out for our guys. That being said, I would never tell my husband he wasn't allowed to have anything that he really wanted. No wonder the guy was a jerk if his wife was a control freak!
I could be nice to almost anyone for great chocolate. smiling smiley

I draw the line at chocolate with that white dust all over it like year old Halloween candy.

Their chocolate store in this area closed last year. I'm still in mourning :-)

That's not mediocre, that's garbage. I was thinking like Mars and Hershey, which compared to some of those boutique chocolatiers is mediocre at best.

Kathy, you scared me. My favorite closed one of their stores, but it looks like the other is still open. Whew!

I know which chain you're talking about :-) This was another one who had a large stand-alone building in Des Peres.
