Shell instant rewards for eligible staff members.

The website states: "An instant reward will be given for eligible staff members." This is a new thing for this shopping period.
Can anyone tell me what this entails? I typically do a lot of Shells but don't want to take these if it involves embarrassing the staff.

If they ask for your fuel card you give them a reward. If not you don't. As far as I understand you don't have to tell them if they fail. I have a bunch scheduled for this week. This is my first time doing this particular brand so I can't tell you what else is different.
Coffee - There's a yellow reward card you give them. I print mine out on paper, black and white. If they win the reward, you give them a card with the code number for that inspection written on it. This is not the job number. It is a special code number provided for each shop. The reward card entitles them to a per gallon discount on a gasoline purchase.

Thanks Mary, glad you are on top of it. I have my first set of Shell shops next week. Good to hear from you again. How is your book coming? Hope you are feeling well.
I printed out one sheet of them. Have yet to tear one off.

Seriously, nobody cares that you're offended.
All good here, Jake. Except a few minutes ago I had a Microsoft forced update and lost all my data on my No. 1 computer. Taking it in tomorrow to see if Geekies can get it back. They're optimistic (I think). I'm on No. 2 now, which is an old AMD from storage that didn't get the update and it's clunking along. I have the book backed up on stick so I'm not frantic about that. It's at some 91000 words now and I've been in revision and polish, working with an international online group of writers and also a professional editor. I'm doing less shopping/auditing these days and right now I'm only doing Exxon. Too many pic problems with my recent Shells. Hope for better days on the Shells. I'm sure the bugs will eventually belly up and die. Hope you and everyone else are well.

Thanks guys. It sounds like it's not a big deal. As long as I don't have to humiliate someone I"m good. Nice to see you Mary. Don't be a stranger round here.
I could find nowhere in the literature how the attendant cashes in his ticket. A call to the MSC didn't help as the scheduler didn't know. She took the info and promised someone would call back. I know if I received a 25cpg reward I would want to know "how".
Good question. I did one yesterday but she did not get a ticket so I didn't have to worry about it. He two more on Friday so I will be following. Please let us know what you find out.
OK, I have an answer. I was told to give the reward to the associate and refer him to his manager who will take it from there. We don't know how the redemption works but it is apparently an internal thing and the manager does or should know. Out of our hands at that point. I have 7 tomorrow and I'll see how it works. Should be no problem.
That's a really cheapo "reward." No wonder so few bother to make certain they earn it.

Yeah, Shell is usually close to 25cpg more than the other stations near it!
I have done 10 or 11 of these this time and no one got a reward. I hated that as I love to see employees get rewarded.
