Auto Insurance Shops

Has any one done the Auto Insurance Shops, where you make an appointment and meet with an insurance agent? If so, do you have to give your real name?

It most cases you do have to provide your real information. The insurance agent will need that to pull up driving history, etc,, so he can provide a quote.

They do require you use your real name and your real ID to get an accurate quote.

and they ask for your SSN and sometimes pull out a credit report, too.

They also need to know if he/she calls back....beside DL info.
