Correlation - longer shop remains in QC, the more likely it'll be rejected?

I'm new to MS, probably only about 100 under my belt, so I'm not sure about this. I've had a few rejections; basically rookie errors. It seems like the longer it stays in QC or pending, etc, the more likely it is it'll be rejected.

I've done about 10-15 gas station shops for one particular MSC and they've all been approved within hours. Now I'm sitting on three that were done Sunday and still crickets.

I've learned to become paranoid about rejection, lol. Do they just sometimes take longer or does my theory have any merit? Tia.

Just out shopping around...

Depends on the msc and shop. I have a bank shop that takes 7-10 days to get approved.

There are only two correlations with how long a shop stays in QC. How far behind their editors are and how long their SLA allows them between when a shop is performed and when it is submitted to the client.

There are reasons that a body stays in motion
At the moment only demons come to mind

This may be a stupid question, but what does "SLA" stand for?

I have a shop in QC that's been there a week, and I'm getting nervous! I haven't had any questions on it, but this MSC typically turns around a shop in 3 or 4 days. This is a new one for them , though, so maybe it's just set up differently. But I was told by the scheduler to make sure I did it on my due date because the project deadline was tight. If I did it so close to the deadline, I was thinking they must be in a hurry to get them in and edited asap. The old "hurry up and wait" thing, I guess.

I am always a bit shocked when many of my MF shops are approved the moment I hit the submit button. It feels like someone was reading my work over my shoulder...

How does that happen ? I've never had a shop approved the very instant I submitted it. It usually says in QA. I think the quickest was a few hours after submittal.

When I was an editor (for two different MSCs), the end-of-month deadline was always a scramble, waiting on tardy shoppers who waited until the last minute to complete and submit their shops, waiting on schedulers to fill last-minute shops that were hard to fill and those shoppers to submit, etc., and it always seemed like an overload of shops were waiting in the queue at the end of the month. All of that backlog bled over into the first week of the next month, since sometimes we were still finishing up edits for the previous month. I'd say no correlation.

I don't know how it happens, but it happens!!! I just did a grocery shop for them last week, and as soon as I hit that submit button, it was approved!!! It doesn't happen all the time for me, but it HAS happened more than once! It's weird, but who's complaining, right??

I have no idea, but when I do MF grocery shops, it happens more times than not. I’d say 8 out of 10 times it is immediately approved.

Haha!! I doubt MF considers me MVP anything!! I'm just one of a bunch of shoppers to them.

I once had a scheduler email me in the middle of a shop and tell me that the client would most likely not accept my shop since it wasn't completed. I emailed her back and said "what are you talking about? I'm still here taking pictures and finishing up the project" I was pretty floored by that.

I had a MF fast food shop instantly approved last night. I thought I was seeing things!
