Barnes and Noble

So the shop I put in a $15 offer for last weekend is back on the board this weekend. I know it's the same shop, because it still shows that my offer was declined and I can only accept the offered fee. Seems like that should have been reset when whoever go it last week flaked out or did the shop wrong. I'd probably offer $15 again, but I'm not doing it for the $10 they have on it.

After they decline my offer, I decline the shop. That way if it shows back up on the job board again I can make a different offer. I always choose "Decline because of fee/reimbursement" and then when they change the fee, it shows back up on the job board.
I got a furniture rental shop for $24 and then a few days after I did that one, another location showed up for the same chain, so I offered the same amount and was declined. I get about 1/3 of the shops I ask for it seems, and I guess it just depends on who sees my offers. One of the reps is apparently more generous than others.

Thank you for that. Somehow, I never even noticed the Decline button.
I'm doing one for $10; I'm okay with $10. Any ideas on a cheap item to purchase for the required purchase? I prefer not to return something.
Their greeting cards were upscale and on the pricy side, but doesn't everyone need a greeting card eventually?

Reusable bags are up front. They are $1-$2.
Thanks all for the suggestions. Mine ended up having KIND bars at the register for $1. Win!
Ditto here with a nice offer. It was my first time completing a B&N shop last week. It went surprisingly easy for the pay. On top of that, it was teacher appreciation day. I had glanced quick at a teacher table and was told to take multiple things from the employee. She gave me a free chapter book, some new star wars lego figure. The box was damaged and they can't sell damaged boxes. Good day!
I was denied on a MAO that was only $3 more of the base of $15. Why even have the offer up if they auto-decline such a small increase?
Someone probably took it at the offered fee. I'm almost positive that has happened to me in the past when I ask for an extra buck or two and don't get it.
In my area this shop has a $10 fee and $5 reimbursement. I just made a $30 offer. Let's see if they will accept. smiling smiley

They won't. I think that would be the highest paid one in the area. Maybe if there was a BN in Blythe?
The highest I've gotten is $65 plus $5 reimbursement. I can walk there too! It's the one with the Starbucks in it. I used that money and the 4 cell phone competitor shops in the mall to buy the Downton Abbey collector set.
Got declined on my $35 offer for B and N. Oh well, just sent an $80 offer for Five Guys. It's 20 miles away and must be shopped half an hour before closing time, 10 p.m.
Call the help desk and submit your offer! Speak to them with tremendous congeniality and patience and they will do their best for you.

Great advice! Thank you. I'm going to try that method instead. I'm on the verge of going 0 for 4 on my batting average for offers.

Do you have the number for their overseas schedulers?

I don't. Can you please send it to me?
I sent it via pm. It's a very good idea to provide tremendous congenialities. Draw out the "How are youuuu", They are in the PI and are of a family oriented culture on an island.
