AthPower Consulting ~ I am getting emails "on behalf of" Ath Power Consulting wanting my banking info...

... and it wants me to click their link to accept and go to a site I do not recognize... and provide them with my banking account and routing number. They say they want me to switch to epayments, instead of checks. I cannot find any way to actually contact a person at the Ath Power site I do Shops for to verify this... and this makes me very nervous.
Does anyone have any information regarding these emails? Or have a contact at Ath Power to confirm this.
I have a bad feeling when they say 'on behalf of' and it goes to an unrecognizable site.
But at the same time, Ath Power owes me quite a bit and I have not been getting my payments.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Karen

Ath does pay via direct deposit but it's completed through Bill.com. Before you can get paid, they will send a link to sign up for Bill.com. If that's the link you're receiving, it is legit, but to be sure I'd contact Ath directly and ask about it. Once you're signed up with Bill.com, you'll receive payments automatically without having to do anything else to get it. Try sending an email through the contact us link on the Ath site to find out who to contact about it, or directly to your scheduler. I don't remember who sent me the Bill.com info.

This is a SCAM!!!! Lynn Saladini from aTH posted a WARNING under the "Mystery Shopping Discussion" section of the Forum. Do NOT click on the link!! Here is her warning:

The scam warning is about validating email, not banking information. The OP's situation is muddy because she is owed money and ATH does pay by Bill.com. I have never given my banking info to Bill.com although my checks are issued through them. I just get an email telling me the check is on it's way and giving an approximate delivery date.

It would help if the OP told us who actually sent the email.

I have never dealt with bill pay I just got a check from Ath a month ago. As for a scam yes it is! A bank should never send an email wanting log in information on your account just like they do not call you.
Read what MsJudi said. Bill.com does send an email with a link to provide routing and account numbers. They need both to ACH payments into an account.

BTW, you are actually dealing with Bill.com if you received a check. The checks no longer come directly from Ath

Thank you, everyone, for your responses, and they all were very helpful, in fact.

To update ~ after I posted this request to you all for help, I received an email from someone at Ath Power as a confirmation about an update I had done to my profile (while I was there trying to find answers, I had gone ahead and updated other smaller parts to my profile).
I used that email address that I finally had ~ that I knew came from Alt Power ~ and I sent a reply to that address and explained the situation and my concerns about potential fraud and asked for direction for who to talk to to verify this ... or notify them of the emails... etc...

At the time of that email I had written, I had not yet read any of your responses. Within minutes, I received a response from this person at Alt Power, who gave me contact information, but also confirmed the request as valid.
And here is the funny, that instantly put my mind to rest ~ while this person who had sent me the first email about the updates did not sign their name to that email <---- it turns out that I had sent MY email to the actual person who had been sending me all of the emails asking me to provide my banking info <--- I had sent my complaint and concern email to the originator of all of this ( haha ) and that gave me the confirmation I needed to know that the original emails were coming from the authorized employee of Ath Power.

And then, I come here, and the banking provider information that you shared with me reconfirmed all of this.
I am now very relieved and very confident and plan to update that information with them as soon as possible.

Thank you fellow shoppers, for your help and guideance.
Warmest regards ♡

Yes, you are right, LisaSTL....after I went back and re-read the two posts (this one and the one from Ath Lisa), I see the differences clearly....I'm just glad it all worked out for the OP.
That's got to be a scam. In addition I wouldn't do to many of those bank shops or you will not be able to open bank accounts and be reported to Early Warning Systems as I was.
There are lots of bank shops that you don't need to open checking accounts or savings accounts. I open checking and savings accounts, but I don't close them for a long time, only when the MSC stops shopping them.
They are a horrible company, and I would not mystery shop for the company. I did some mbna shops for them for hockey games at the bell center in montreal quebec which is in canada. The first shop I did for them was good, got refunded for the ticket I had to pay upfront The one I did in march was having trouble uploading the ticket in to my report. The second shop I never was fully refunded for my ticket I paid for upfront. I sent it to my territory manager, and she never uploaded it in to my report. I fought with company and was never refunded for my ticket.
