Newist Ipsos Pizza and other shops

Ipsos has some Pizza shops using phones to make payments. They pay $5 with a $5 reimbursement- right now the Domino's store around here has large 2 topping pizzas $5.99 if you order online and pickup in the store which you have to pick up the order anyway. Around here the only shops for Pizza from other companies are for Papa Johns and I hate their pizza. This looks like take a few pix and upload receipt. Very short survey, love Ipsos's surveys. I know it's not much but around here there's a million Dominos stores on every corner. It will be great to get a good pizza and at least make a few dollars. Now when I say good I am talking good from a chain, I prefer the local handmade one but right now it is not in the budget!

They have other stores and gas stations too. I saw Ace hardware, Gulf, Casey's, and Denny's.

Which one of the many brand names mentioned is the actual client? I'm wondering which needs to be edited out of your post and possibly the subject line.

The shops I see with all the stores OP named is for credit cards, not food service.....read carefully and thou shall see!

Yikes, was trying so hard to not name the pizza company and MSC and didn't even think that they aren't the client! Thanks for the clarity! I feel soooo stupid!!!! Guess I shouldn't post after an all nighter taking care of mom!

Aribacat Sorry for your sleepless nights and even more that your mom needs this type of assistance. Hang in there. You are not alone...Whether she can verbalize it or not your mom has a great gift in you. A hug for each of you from me.

The clients would not be the businesses it's the pay system. Just wanted people to know it looks like a quick easy shop, they had regular businesses and restaurants early this morning.
Thanks SandyF for the hugs, mom thank goodness she can speak and still do most everything but her memory is going. Her form of dementia is fixated on going to the bathroom, thus getting up from 4 to 17 times a night. She can't walk alone or she may fall again. We can't really complain, she is 91 and has nothing much physically wrong with her. Wish I was as healthy as her!!!

My father-in-law recently passed away from dementia. It's a very disheartening disease.

I just saw the shops and I believe the client is "the way you pay," not the credit card necessarily. Trying not to be vague but not too specific to violate ICA. I have never paid for anything the way the client wants so I think I would have to experiment/do some reading. Yes, I have to get with the times! lol

Because there are two different mobile pay apps being tested, I got the impression the single credit card provider was the client. Regardless, I have no clue and can only speculate.

I think it's the card too, just thought they were quick, easy and free edible pizza sounds great to me! The guys will eat the PJ pizzas but I have a hard time eating them, even when free! I wish the pizza brands that everyone complains about were here. We did finally get a Brixx here and am doing one of those shops but why can't there be one for a real NY style pizza. Heck, why can't I get a real pizza down south!!!
Appreciate the encouragement for mom. She is at the beginning stages so just needs a lot of reminding of things right now. Thank God hers is carotid dementia, her two sisters had Alzheimer's and one lived to 100. Hopefully she will live as long if she has a good quality of life!!!

I try to keep away from all these types of shops as I will need a steep learning curve! I also made the mistake of doing an app delivery shop once which used up my chance for a first time free delivery that I could have used in my out of pocket life. The shop just said I would not have to pay for the delivery part but wanted a first time user. Little did I know they were taking advantage of my freebie.

I just looked at the guidelines. The stores are not the clients; the app is. I did a similar shop at Starbucks. I had to use the app of a specific credit card that I have to see if it was accepted. I set everything up the night before, but I forgot to disable Samsung Pay, which is my debit card and default payment. I didn't realize that the payment was not made by my credit card app until I went to pay that balance.

Oh, OK. I read the shop descriptions too quick. Coincidentally, my mom is sick too and went in the hospital yesterday. Can I use that excuse too?

Hope your mom gets better quickly! It's not easy when mom's are sick not matter how old we are!

You know me too well!!! Thanks for the good thoughts. She has pneumonia but is doing soooo much better than the first day when she was in the ER.

Thanks, aribacat! And I hope things go well for you and your mom. Mine is 84 and as you know, when they get that age, something that may be minor when younger is huge at that age and can go from bad to worse in a second. Your mom is blessed to have you watch over her. Take care of yourself also. Being a caregiver takes a lot out of you.
