Standee at theatre

Does anyone work these? It is supposed to take 90 min to setup and it pays $7. Does that seem like a small amount?

$7 / 90 minutes = $4.67 per hour just for ‘setup time.’ I’ve never saw the benefit of these projects in particular. What is the benefit? Are you even able to watch the movie?

Shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado. 33 year old male and willing to travel!
Right? Not even minimum wage! Seems like a hassle to set up. Nope the movie isn't even out yet so you don't get to view it. sad smiley
If this is the company I'm thinking of, the pay is scale based. I.E. $7.00 if the standee is not installed or already installed upon arrival and $XX if you install it. I'm just horrible at that type of thing so I only consider doing if if they're rated as "easy."
jkbeaty21 is right. $7 is typically when the standee is already installed by the theater. If you have to install, it's usually another rate, anywhere from $8-10 (for easy), $12-20 (for moderate) and $20+ (for difficult). I usually stay away from ones that take more than 90. 90 usually takes me an hour.
When you view the details of the job, it will tell you both compensation amounts. If you can't find it, email the scheduler.
I would not build a standee for $7 if I was standing inside the theater next to the box.
I've done just a couple of these. I'm not mechanically inclined, so mine took some time. I had a couple that were bonused. Usually if you wait a bit, they add some money to the fee, which can make it worthwhile.
Used to do tons of these. That pay rate is about half what I would do that for before throwing in the towel, assuming it took 90 minutes. I can swing a wrench and make quick work of these, enough to get your company mad at me for taking about 40 one midweek that I wiped out completely.

I quit right about when I got a Ninja Turtles couch allegedly listed as moderate and 90 mins that took 6 hours, maybe 4 if I wasn't coming in after work and hangry already. Then, I knew the jam was in. Glad to know I've missed nothing. Aside from cute gals hitting one me, that is.

FYI, $7 was the pay for a simple standee if already unboxed and completed. You take pic and upload for report and voila! $7. Take that for its worth.

Yeah, the Turtles one was awful. The current Jurassic World and Ocean's 8 ones are no picnic either.

I know which standee's are being talked about re:$7 for being assemble or $8 for building it. The MSC knows they got lowballed for the project. They had to add a big bonus to get them all done.
