Del Taco Certification Test

Anyone else having a problem passing this? There appears to be an error in the test as I followed the study guide and didn’t pass. They do show you the correct response in red via an email link later but I already exceeded my attempts. The error is in the required purchase items as they are missing “or” in the list of what’s required. I spent entirely too long on this. You would think they would beta test the certification before releasing it.

Thanks for the heads up. I was just about to take the test but now .....I will wait a bit.
I got an email that they agreed the wording was “tricky”. They went ahead and certified me. I’m not sure if the tricky wording has been corrected. I would advise you to take the test once and if you don’t pass, wait until you get an email with an attachment with your wrong answer indicated in red. However the shop requires a lot for a low fee and reimbursement.
I was able to pass on the second round, but I agree that there is a lot of work required such as the audio recording. I know these "large chain" shops tend to operate like this, but especially with the deconstruction of the items ordered, not sure it is worth even for free food without a higher fee.
Here’s a follow up on the lunch shop I did yesterday. Definitely not worth it for the small amount of food that’s reimbursed. The report is fairly simple though. I wonder if they are really going to listen to the audio recording if there were no major problems on the shop. I held my IPhone near the open window but almost impossible to make out what the cashier is saying.
m,e too, dh loves DT, but i'm not in the mood for complaining and what you had to buy isn't what we like anyway.

You had permission to audio record in CA? Strange.

I never considered that to be an issue. I assume the staff had been alerted and perhaps signed their consent. Well I hope so anyway!
Yeah, I expect any shop in a state with serious privacy/recording laws have already asked employees to allow such audits/recordings or they are those few that don't require recordings.

I have seen many quick service shops with recording pay $30 to $40, so I am perhaps disappointed on how many shops have gone at such a low fee. The list of remaining shops seems small. Maybe that will change in future months after people have tested the "new" shop.
Just got an email that my shop of 9 days ago was rejected. I couldn’t hear the employee very well as the speaker volume was so low. I believe she suggested a drink but I did not order it until I was given the total. The MSC said the shop couldn’t be accepted because I ordered a drink which was not suggested. Sort of a toss up which is not worth fighting over. Side issue, but I hate shops that penalize the shopper by not allowing us to order and be reimbursed for items that are not suggested. Even worse when the whole shop gets rejected. I also spent a lot of time with the test and notifying the MSC that there was a problem with it. Didn’t even get a thank you for doing so.

I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING ABOUT ORDERING A BEVERAGE NOT SUGGESTED? I ALWAYS GET TEA ANYWAY.. THAT'S ODD TO ME.
