Preferred Ways to be Contacted by MSPs

Hello!

I'm a scheduler for 360 Intel and we want to hear your feedback on your preferred ways of being contacted about possible shop opportunities to better serve our shopping community in the future. Please select 1-2 choices only.

Do you prefer to be contacted via...

1) Email
2) Text
3) Phone
4) I would rather not be contacted at all

Thank you in advance for taking the time to reply to this post!

I only want to be contacted by email. If a scheduler calls 2 x a day telling me she has an urgent pizza shop, after I've specified that I don't want to be notified of opportunities by telephone, I get a little cranky. Unless, of course the MSC is Albatross - they can call me any time at all.
Email only, unless you have a negotiable bonus to offer, then feel free to call.
Welcome. We like having schedulers here and have a Job Board especially for you to post all jobs.

Please honor the tradition that all MSC personnel attach a permanent signature line with their name, affiliation and contact email address. In order to do that just click on your screen name at the very top of the page, then click on profile and then on signatures. Don't forget to save your sig line, lol. It will attach automatically to all existing posts as well as to new ones. Enjoy!

Poor customer service? Don't get mad; get video.
Email only, please unless you have a serious bonus to propose. Then text would be even faster.

EMail, by far.
Phone, fine if not overdone, but leave a voice mail. If I don't recognize the number, I don't answer.
Text... only if we (myself and scheduler) have an established relationship and I have worked on the specific project being inquired about, in the past.
If you are just looking for someone to do a job as advertised online, stick to email. If it is something you specifically want me to do or if you are ready to negotiate a bonus, give me a call.

Hard work builds character and homework is good for your soul.
Bonused or truly special offers by phone or text, if it's a first-come, first-served.

Everything else including personalized bonuses or projects specifically for me via email.

Very infrequently shopping the Greater Denver Area, Colorado Springs and in-between in Colorado these days.
I prefer email, primarily. Text, if it's a hot shop.
I prefer email and like some of the other posters, I would be fine receiving a phone call if it involved a bonus.
Text/Email with company, job, pay, reimbursement, dates can be done.

I prefer email by far. Texts as noted above: there should be a substantial bonus offered. Please do not text me about something that is identical to the email or website. I basically never want a phone call. Often I can't pick up right then, but I can read and reply to a text quickly. Also, I don't pick up unrecognized numbers.
I prefer email for regular notifications but feel free to telephone if you are offering a decent bonus. Don't call with bonuses under $20 and don't have me called from outside this continent.
Thank you!

E-mail for all standard notifications and phone if offering a special shop and/or a bonus. But if you call, please leave a message if I don't answer, and I'll call you back if I can do the shop.

I learn something new every day, but not everyday!
I've learned to never trust spell-check or my phone's auto-fill feature.
I like emails that have a concise subject line, and then list all available jobs with pay & the link I need to click to sign up right there in the email. I save emails like this in my “interested” email folder.

If there is a particular job needing done with a good bonus, I’m all for texting!

I really dislike phone calls for any reason.
Email always, unless there are big bucks involved. Then you may contact me any way you please smiling smiley
Email preferred. If there is a bonus, then call. I work during the day so I cannot answer my phone, but leave a message.
I prefer email, within my radius (thank you), text only with a nice bonus attached. No phone calls.
I do shops with you getting them on my own from ISS Scheduling.

Live consciously....

I check the job boards regularly and if a job is still there, there is a reason I haven't taken it. If you are willing to change one of those reasons, then you can contact me any way you see fit... but don't hide in my shower. That scares the crap out of me.
Even if you have a separate e-mail account for shopping, automatically filter the e-mails, etc., the amount of e-mail from all the different MSCs can be overwhelming. If an MSC has a job board, my preference is not to be contacted at all.
E-mail is, IMO, the most professional way to contact a shopper. That said, repetitive bulk e-mail blasts are not desirable. E-mails should either cover multiple shops or announce real bonuses (not just a few crappy dollars added). Those schedulers who send multiple e-mails out announcing what is already known from the boards might as well stop as I set their e-mails to go directly to spam.

Phone calls are only appropriate when a KNOWN scheduler is offering a substantial bonus (not just a few crappy dollars) or is seeking me specifically to do a particular shop and extended conversation or negotiation concerning the shop and the bonus is needed.

I do not accept text messages from schedulers unless the scheduler is KNOWN and either a) has made specific prior arrangements to communicate with me by text or b) is communicating a true emergency - i.e. the scheduler knows that there is an active shooter situation at the shop. That a particular shop needs to be scheduled and the scheduler is in a bind does not an emergency make.
