Who shops sit down Italian chain resturants

Hi all, I took a couple of years off and had to go through my list and prune a bunch of companies that are now gone. The ones that are left seemed to have jumbled up a lot of the shops, and I have been signing up to the newer companies as well.

I am having a hard time finding a couple of chains that I used to enjoy doing. I am in the southeast part of the US, if that matters for these chains (I know it does for some). Thanks in advance for any help, I do appreciate it.

I am not currently living in SE US, but in the past, A Closer Look and Customer Impact have both had Italian restaurant shops. I haven't seen any this month. CI did one about once a year, and ACL every four months or so.
My MSC got a couple new restaurants, doing a dinner tomorrow, Italian, new chain, interested in how they are.
I know Customer Impact has chains that are good, as well as Mercantile, but sorry I can't give you this one's name, too many shoppers in my town, that will steal.

RBG has one. I don't know if they have it in your area or not. They're also very popular so they disappear quickly.

There are 3 kinds of lies. Lies, Damn lies, and statistics.
The only Bestmark restaurant I've seen consistently in my area is place known for it's pies and breakfast. I did one of those once and was not impressed (I had to order hot coffee for dinner in July rarely happens around here) Reimbursement only too. UGH!!!!

The only jobs i've ever seen at Bestmark are auto (American) repairs, never any restaurant...I de-activated although Cory is a nice guy, the work wasn't there...why recommend Bestmark at this point, since they are in deep S___.

I second MSF as Bestmark has had the type of shops the OP is searching for, in my area at least.

"We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl -- year after year..."
I have looked on Bestmark's site for the past few months and there are 0 shops in my area...weird, right?
Thank you all for your information. Of all of these, the only company I was missing was Customer Impact, so I signed up, and nothing at the moment. I have been back at it about 3 months, so I will just keep looking. As I said, I learned the first time around that it is VERY regional in terms of who shops what for a lot of these chains.

Also, what is going on with Bestmark? I have been doing shops with them since 2008. Are they being bought or something?

I think I read a thread about that not long ago and that they were bought by someone else, can't remember all the details. I don't do many shops for them so I didn't really pay much attention.
YES, someone bought out Bestmark.....there's a thread on here about it.

Hey there, oteixeira - I've got a nice one for you: MCG. They have an assortment of nice restaurants, of which may or may not include Italian on any given day.
I haven't seen the restaurant on bm for about 1-2 months now, along with not seeing a certain kind of their car shops the past month. Not sure if they being bought out has anything to do with it. The restaurant was for reiimbursement only and was a reveal.
Usually when any company lose's clients, it effects them. They used to have an oil change I did over a year ago, it's been gone, so their inventory was way down (at least in my area). With many companies paying more for better jobs, they needed to get better clients.

I just checked the Best Mark shop list in my area. The pie/breakfast restaurant is there and 2 electronics shops. I know I've seen their casino shop recently too. So at least in my area there are some shops still.

Who is MCG?

Search google for MCG mystery shopping and you will have your answer, not sure if we can give you the link outright or anything like that, and I don't want to break any rules.

I don't think any rules are being broken by stating who mcg is as long as none of their clients are mentioned.
Yes, that's true. You can name a client in one thread and not the MSC, and in another you can name a MSC but not any of their clients. They can't be linked but can be discussed apart from each other.
Management Consultant Group. Don’t understand all the dancing around identifying what MCG stands for.
I didn't know or I would have disclosed the info. Apparently I signed up with them a number of years ago and they never had anything in my area, because I just tried to sign up with them and I found out that I already have an account with them. Nothing in my area.
I did some Googling and found that the addresses for it are a private home and a mail and parcel services business. My guess is that it's a mom and pop MSP run out of the owner's home. From the looks of the website, it appears to be a much larger and more substantial MSC. I also came across a thread on the forum about someone not receiving payment for the MSC a couple of years ago.

And Management Consultant Group is listed in the Official List of Mystery Shopping Companies, [www.mysteryshopforum.com]
The only thing I didn't like about the Bestmark restaurant shops was that it HAD to be in by 10 AM the next day. And we usually got home around midnight. Not too much time for the report.
